Playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time on the SNES. I just slapped Baxter's shit.

holy shiz, best beat em up ever.

I cant play those games. There seems to be no skill involved, just button mashing.

I just finished DQIV on the DS, picked up DQV, played the Dante's Inferno demo, and looking forward to a bunch of shit.

No way! Turtles in Time was probably the most balanced beat-'em-up I've ever played. That game's graphic still beat a lot of current games into submission. (But I'm a sucker for sprites.)

I cannot see the good points of that game past the bad. they are just too egregious.

for one thing, when "we all went to the same orphanage and forgot about it" is an amazing plot twist, you know you've gone wrong somewhere.

Yes, that one sucked hard. The main villian was pretty cool, until she decided she was actually a really good person, and only dressed like an evil goth witch from hell.

Oh, and the hero was such an emo dick. all he did was whine.

Yeah, when i got to that point of the game, I sat there for a second in disbelief. And the GF's are the reason why they "forgot"? c'mon . . . . Also, they really could have put a "skip animation" option for the summons. I mean when your using them like 7-8 times in a battle and they play their freaking 2 minute long animation EVERY time . . . well . . . enough said.

Y'know, I kinda' felt that Squall was kind of more emo than I felt Cloud was. Shocking but true. Still, I cannot wait until they re-release IX for the PS classics. Playing 8 only further cemented 9 as my favorite Final fantasy.

I'd say that 8 was horribly bad, but definitely some "wow . . . is this game being serious?" moments throughout. I liked the subplot with Laguna/Julia/Raine way more than the whole Squall/Rinoa thing (which by the way I didn't find too believable. But hey it's a freaking video game right?

I guess some versions do have a skip button? I'm not sure, myself, but I've heard mixed stories.

nine was fun, though. it didn't bring anything groundbreaking to the table, but it had much style and executed everything really well.

the only moments I enjoyed the game where the Laguna moments, I can't seem to figure out why ppl love that game soo much.. Squall was an ass, and easely one of the most sucking game characters ever, if it wasn't for the gunblade and the amazing intro of the game Squall wouldn't have that much fans xD

I'm still playing Dragon Age

Five solid hours put in on Dragon Age. I actually feel like starting over though since I think I messed up a quest or three. Bleh, I'll never get used to these open-world western RPG's.

On the side: Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift + Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (because I hear it's still better than Spirit Tracks).

PS,
If I had to sit through the two minute GF summon animations every time I'd forget huge chunks of my life too.
