I'd be shocked if no one posted this before in this thread, but... I'm mostly playing my own game right now. Hey, it's not going to playtest itself!
Though Cave Story looks tempting (and is on sale now). From the looks of it, I may be the one person on this half of the planet who's never played it yet.

Installed and am messing around with Diablo II with the expansion. Pretty decent so far but it's incredibly Runescapey (which leads me to wonder why Diablo players hate RS so much, especially when they comment on the battle system).
Also playing San Andreas (with a complete save file because I can't be arsed with the actual game). You're not an SA player till you've drove a Xoomer tanker both up and down the mountain. :D!

Or until you've gone to the top of Mt. Chilliad with a BMX, picked the parachute up, and rode off the ramp, done tons of flips, and not opened the parachute quick enough, smashing down to the floor like woooooo, but then you forget you have godmode on so you don't die, pick your BMX up, and do it again!
Well anyways, Skate 3 didn't come today, although we didn't get ANY post today, apparently our local post office is on strike, fuck you guys...
So I've started downloading the Gravity Rush demo, yay!
And until then, I've been playing Dragon's Dogma, this game is so fucking incredible, the graphics might not be amazing, and the story is very much meh, but the exploration and combat is better than other open world RPG I've played... it can also be pretty hard at times too. But it has some really cool features, for example, you can have a mage enchant your weapons, so you can have flaming arrows... and you can pick almost anything up in the world to throw (Throw one enemy at the other, or pick one up and throw it off a cliff for example...), including jugs of water or oil and stuff, so I can throw a jug of oil onto a group of enemies, set one alight with one fire arrow, and it passes onto the others, and then if I feel nice, I can throw a jug of water at them to extinguish the fire... or throw them into a river or the sea or something. There's some really cool features of the game, however, swimming isn't one of them, that's the only problem, you can't swim... that sucks, it's one of those "Jump into the water, instantly die" sort of things, however there's actually a "reason" for it, apparently some scary monster has been swimming around the oceans, killing anyone that enters, and that's why your player (Or anyone for that matter) can't go into the sea! Lolwut.

making what i do annually, i would have to be a real asshole to stiff small companies and indie studios out of money for products, especially when i claim to be pro-indie and that i like to make every effort to support small-time and independent game-devs.
(And, yes, Telltale is still in that category -- It is slowly shaping up to be nearly a medium-sized company in revenue, but it is not owned nor leased by any large, corporate entities.)

A game by Arkane studio (Arx Fatalis, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic) along with guy who worked on Deus Ex, Thief and System Shock and with guy who worked on Half-Life 2 levels. I think it could be one of the greatest game ever made.
