Awesome Bro

Since the new update for Battlefield 3 and downloading the 11.10 drivers for my 6950, Battlefield 3 seems to be working a lot better, I can play for more than 5 minutes without crashing, for example, I've been playing for over an hour right now and it's been smooth as butter, except a bit of lag within the first 5 minutes but it sorted itself out...

Is anyone else playing Battlefield 3? It's pretty amazing if I might say so, the graphics are so pretty to look at, especially with everything running on ultra at 50-60FPS on average (It can drop into the low-mid 40's if I'm caught in an explosion and lots of falling debris and players are around me), and the atmosphere is just great, I love it, it feels just how I'd imagine modern day warfare to be, obviously with some tweaks for gameplay sake, but meh...

I played Dragon Age 2 today (a bit). And I also finished my origins file so I could import it in to DA2.

Either this game sold like shit or it's shit (which I highly doubt) but there has to be some reason why the NEW (not second hand) version only costs 21€ (price of a ps2 game). Especially since Origins still costs 30€ new or 26€ second handed. :/

Oh well I aint complaining about it (cheap games ftw!)

Played the Skyrim Xbox leak thanks to a friend.

I didn't get very far, but played enough to get a feel for how the game plays and how it looks.

The graphics for the Xbox version are pretty sub par. There are definitely rough patches that look atrocious. This is coming from someone who doesn't care much for graphics. I sort of expected this for the console version of the game, as the world is apparently pretty large. It may be the differing art styles, but Oblivion does look better in some points. I imagine the PC version will not suffer from this.

Gameplay wise, it is definitely smoother. I absolutely hated Morrowind and Oblivion. The clickfest that was combat did not help things. It feels as if I really do need to move around more during combat, rather than smashing a button or clicking the mouse on PC, I would imagine.

I can't really comment on the storyline. Allegedly, there is a good one this time. I'm not sure if I buy that yet. What I saw in terms of the leveling system seemed okay. It is something I would have liked some more time to toy with more, as there seems to be a lot of options. It is definitely a step up from it's predecessors.

As someone who has pretty much hated the Elder Scrolls series aside from Daggerfall, Redguard, and sort of Arena, I'll probably be picking up the PC version of Skyrim. I am not completely sold on the concept of this being the ultimate game as it is being hyped as, but there seems to be enough changed from it's two predecessors that will allow me to enjoy enough of the game to warrant a full purchase.

New trailer for Ni No Kuni... is anyone else as excited for this game as I am? Especially considering Namco Bandai announced they're bringing it to US and EU

I'd suggest watching it in 720p because it looks so bloody amazing!

I'm playing Duke Nukem Forever for PC. Great game if you played Duke Nukem 3D in the past. Funny as hell. I give it a 8.5 out of 10. Most of the losers who gave it low scores are graphic whores. Strangely the game has graphics like Doom 3, so I really don't know why people bash it for graphics. A few funny errors, but nothing horrible at all. Also the low scores come from 14 year old losers that can't beat the game, and never played Duke Nukem 3D.

Duke Nukem Forever was not bad at all. I still don't understand where all this hate for it is coming from. No way in hell this game should get the same score as Superman 64. People are idiots... Or I guess they just agreed to bash it for taking so long. I dunno. Anyway the game is good if you like to laugh. There's no other game where you can battle a Queen alien with 3 huge tits and LOL.

(They forgot to put Overlord on the game. He's my favorite boss.)

I'm 19, I've played the game, and I've played Duke Nukem 3D, I still thought the game was awful, please explain the logic behind this statement...

80% of the sites that scored the game is mainly populated by teens between 10-16. IE game spot & Gamefaqs. I've did my research already. Don't bother questioning anything else because I will not respond to you anymore. Thank you...

Great way to get around it, by ignoring common sense... please show me your research and where you got this 80% from, you're just chatting shit because you can't admit that the majority of people that have played it think it's awful...

Anyway, I've been playing more Battlefield 3, still playing as an Engineer because I find it handy to have an RPG with me at all times... or even a Stinger to bring down some choppers and jets (Although a good 90% of the time they use flares... oh well)

I agree with what I bolded, it shouldn't of gotten the same score as Superman 64, because Superman 64 was a way better game. :(

Anyways, I've been replaying Oblivion in preparation for Skyrim. DC Universe Online also went free to play, so I've been toying with that for about an hour a day. It's actually quite fun to play.

One game I've yet to play, but been told is good is Persona 3/4 for the Playstation 2, anyone have any opinions for it?

AMAZING. The battle style is like your classic JRPG (so that might turn you off depending on what you like), but the story and setting is truly engaging, especially if you spend the time needed for the game. For reference, these are relatively long JRPGs. Persona 4 took me almost 80 hours to beat without any post-game stuff/new game+. Also, I would advise starting with Persona 3 first just because Persona 4 lets you do more things like allow control for all party members and after that you might not wanna go back.

Right now, playing RAGE. Controls feels kinda weird but I'm only at the beginning so I'm willing to give it more of a chance. After that I will probably play Shadow of the Colossus or something.

I just found out that my laptop can handle a PS2 emulator, so I'm going back and playing stuff I missed out on, like Persona 4, as well as undubs for FF10 and Tales of the Abyss.
