qwent to a party. got shitfaced as hell. went to get a burrito at a place called the taco bus (but there were no hookers). the burrito was amazing. what the fuck it was carnitas cooked in like roasted oranges and cilantro and holy fucking hell that was amazing.

i just realized it is 4am so sleeptimes!!!!!!!!!!!!

hopefully tomorrow i will be mostly sober. too much drunikins for one week

I pixeled until 9 am, slept for about two hours, got up and kept pixeling until about 8-9 pm, at which point I submitted the finished piece to Pixel Joint and proceeded to loaf around the Internet.

To Venetia: The trial, popularly know as the CCSS-Fischel trial, is one, if not, the biggest political trial ever to be in the history of Costa Rica. The CCSS or Caja, is the entity in charge of providing free social security and healthcare. Fischel is a pharmaceutical company. The CCSS asked the Finish government for a loan to buy equipment for Medko Medical Company (a finish company of medical supplies) through Fischel. Rumors started out saying the equipment sucked. An investigation lead to the appearance of bonuses in the people who bought the equipment, including the former president Rafael Ángel Calderón Fournier. The court ruled out there was no funny business, the equipment was great, the loan was fantastic, etc. However, giving out money to people, while being legal in Finland, isn't in Costa Rica. Thankfully, the trial wasn't directed towards this specific point. In fact, the trial was completely political. In short, nobody is going to jail, but the ex president's image was damaged. My dad was an executive at the CCSS at the time when all of this happened and got dragged into it. He's also coming out clean and free. I couldn't be happier.

EDIT: Also, I smoked my last cigarette today. I'm quiting cold turkey.

Yeah me too. There're only a few things that turn me off more than that stagnant lingering cigarette smoke smell or smoke-yellowed teeth. No matter how fastidious someone is, they can never really completely lose that odor until they just stop smoking altogether. I avoid indoor-smoking bars just so I don't walk out smelling like an ashtray :X

Today I worked, and like everyday, wished I worked freelance at home. I hate the fact that I work for someone else. Maybe it is time to establish a plan to go from employment to eventual self employment?

today i went to fort de soto beach and went like WAY out in the water and wore a bikini for the first time in like forever and played with some horseshoe crabs and some blue crabs and there was this blue heron that was following us for a while which was cute and I got bitten by several ants and ate sandwiches on a giant petrified tree and carved on it and saw a very random lesbian couple getting frisky over this ridge (like i was exploring and they didn't see me so i lold and left) (but only one of them was decent looking anyway, the other was crazyfat) and we laughed and then went home and ate spaghetti and also got busy like 6 times throughout the day. also i ate part of a giant reeses peanut butter rabbit.

I introduced myself to 170 11-year-old Japanese kids who I will never see again, telling them all sorts of wonderful lies about America! Then I implemented WALLS into my shooter that is supposed to set itself apart, in part by having WALLS.

This makes my day a legitimate one.

Oh, I also sat through an hour and a half meeting conducted entirely in a language I don't understand (I gave a short speach in a language THEY didn't understand in revenge), and wrote a chapter of my book! Woo!
