I am currently reading The Amber Spyglass, the thrid book in the His Dark Materials Trilogy, writen by Philip Pullman.
I recently read the first two books which were pretty good.
The first, Northern Lights otherwise known as The Golden Compass movie, was far better as a book than a movie.
In my opinion anyway...

Actuaslly, the book was also called the Golden Compass, hence why the movie was named so.

I'm almost done reading a book called "The Sight", by David Clement-Davies. Eh. It's alright, but nothing spectacular or anything. If you're into wolves and animal fantasy it's worth a read I guess.

Also reading "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins. It's a good read and is very thought provoking. I mean you obviously have to take it with a grain of salt, but even if you're a theist I'd still recommend it, although I won't guarantee you'll like it.

I'm thinking about reading Atlus Shrugged by Ayn Rand. I've heard it's an interesting read. Can anybody give me some info about it?

I loved The Catcher in the Rye the first time around. I tried rereading it last summer, couldn't get through half of it :x

I just finished reading "The Things They Carried"
It was a good book, but it was confusing. I do appreciate the different style, but it was hard to keep track of all the events when the author jumps around like that. :)

Has anyone heard of the book Little Brother? I read some of it. Let me put it this way: it's very internet-ish. It has stuff like "1337" and "H4x0r" and a bunch of other internet-related stuff.

I read it once, its all right if you can get through all the l33t shit,
oh and their tech appendix is good to read -
there's some really interesting school comp killing shit

Toll the Hounds by Steven Erickson. After this one, I''l finally be caught up on the Malazan Book of the Fallen (at least till the next one comes out).

I was going all Hybrida on myself and reading an introductory book to Quantum Physics, because I find that shit really interesting and my Dad is a huge physicist. Seriously, we have every book in the popular science section.

I'm picking something less intense. I'm a few chapters into Steven Hawking: A Brief History of Time. So far it seems to be written for the masses - of which I belong - and so it's a good read. I don't know if it's going to suddenly u-turn into Hybrida-semantics.
