We share the water with mexico, and brownsville is almost the poorest city in the nation, so nah. I wish that were so, though, since even the sodas taste funny and only the mexican ones are any good.

Oh dude yeah. When I lived in L.A. it was DEPLORABLE. And for years after the '96 quake, the fucking water came out looking like diarrhea, and smelling like fat dudes farting copper.

Here it tastes like aluminum foil and smells like feet & sulphur :/

yeah its literally horrible, but im at the point now where I can stomach it. I bought a BRITA filter though just in case, but neither I or my lady drink the shit (shes a hard core mexican and she wont even drink it)

It's kind of weird thinking about living in a place where you don't even drink the tap water. We get all our water from Lake Erie/Lake Huron so it's already relatively clean. Sometimes we have chemical spills that get out into the water (thanks a lot, michigan!!) but after a few days of cleanup it's usually good again. I'd hate to live in a place where you can't even drink the TAP water D:

I drink tons of tap water, especially now that I'm not chugging down soda all the time. Idk, I like water. Doesn't taste like much, but it's cool and refreshing, and Atlanta's tastes fine.
