It seems like your light source for your hair is coming from east-southeast rather than southwest, which is the standard light source in RMXP. You could flip him horizontally to fix that though. Other than that his clothes are very saturated but if that's what you're going for it looks pretty good.

yea i guess but if I flip the hair it looks weird so ill leave it and I gotta work on my shading a bit

Here's an old oak for use in a Tyke tileset. I hope its not too detailed to match.

Emo: Yep i did, i will put up that list in a couple of minutes thanks.

You folks can then make whatever you want from the list.
We want the best looking heroes and heroines (main characters mainly) so how about some sort of poll/voting thread separate to this one (if someone has a better idea let me know) witch will be used to vote for the faves, then i will add those to the front page here.

If anyone else wants to try to make some diff type of battlers that would be cool too, maybe something like the rtp standard battlers or something similar to tanas work , I'm not a great artist but i will try some picture battlers when we have some rtp heroes completed.


Some face portraits for heroes and npc's would be cool too, 1 for each would be enough, anyway just an idea.

Nphyx: It looks good, not too sure if it has the right angle though.

I would just flip him horizontally to fix the hair on front/back and reshade it on the right-facing set.

In regard to the tree you're probably right about the perspective, let me see if I can fix it without killing it.
