Oh wow! It's beautiful! I think that it kinda gives off the wrong feel, though, it seems like it almost implies that it would be in the graphic style the titlescreen was in. It might have mainly been because of the music, but it just didn't feel right. You know, I think I know what it is, it feels like a completely silly game, whereas the game itself was supposed to be fairly serious.
So, even though I can't completely tell why, it just wasn't right.
I think that before I ever request another titlescreen, I should probably have the game pretty much finished, with it's story completely done.

Since you haven't started with my project yet (hopefully), I was wondering if I could possibly completely change my request. For the game I requested, I don't need an art title anymore, since it would be an evented one. However, I need that for another side-game I am working on.
Hopefully, you don't mind. Here is the replaced request:
1.) Title : Fantasy on Mother's Day
I wouldn't need this to be in any specific font or color, but just with a cute and simple feeling as the game is light-hearted and short. And colors would be preferably pink or white.
2.) Subtitle : None.
3.) Concept Art : None, really.
4.) Description: The game is about a girl who would be trying to get her mother a present on mother's day, so something simple and cute would just do. Perhaps some flowers and tree leaves or whatnot, just a peaceful feeling.

All right theory. I just dug through this thread (once again) to find the newest title screen, and, while impressive, I must agree that the waves should have been moving in the same direction. I helped you work out the ship's movement for you, and I noticed something. When movement comes into play, you have the tendency to overdo things. For example, your initial ship movements weren't quite right, and the small changes I suggested worked wonders with the change in angle that it normally went through. Anyway, my point is that you suggested a number for the rear wave movement that was far too different from the front to work. I tested it at -10, and it looked very, very good. In fact, it made me want to keep looking to the right, where the ship was traveling, as though my eyes and subconscious thought I was staring out a car's side window and tried to compensate for movement. Anyway, I'm hoping you can get online soon, so we can discuss something else to work on.
Good news. I'm back to these starting tommorow. There will be progress.
zchin131, when I reach your request, I will ask again. If you want it, I will make it. Punctuality of it all is a bit rough when I'm scraping to survive, but this is what I do for fun, too, so I really don't mind. I appreciate everyone's patience. I can't say when who will have what, but I can say that I will make everyone's given they still want them when I get there.

Well, I have abandoned the Retian thread due to lack of outside input and support, I am already starting a new storyline but I might not be able to come up with a title that I will keep for my game. Anyway I guess I would go for a place holder if not I might request some other time...

It's not the end.
I'm in the middle of yet another move, and working on a very large project for the community. As soon as these are taken care of, this thread will be revived. In fact, it will be revived as a part of that process.
I know the time is stretching well beyond what I intended it to. But anyone on my list that has already been accepted for a request will have their requests honored. In the event that I am too late for the release of that particular title, I would be glad to make a title for any other projects they may have going.
Once the title screens are caught up, the thread will change direction and is going to be based more on plug and play effects for other scripts, such as highlights, shaders, bouncing, rotating, special animations such as sparks and flames, water drops, etc. The list I scribbled out comes to about 300 effects, we'll see how many I get done.
You all have not been forgotten. Continue to be patient and I'll be back. I won't give a timeline because I'm horrible at keeping them. I'm almost ready to wrap up my work on the other side and I'll be back.
