The Worst/Most Boring Anime You've Ever Watched

I worship Pokemon. I don't think I've watched moe than an episode since I was 11 but I dare not cast my gaze accross one these days incase a break out into laughter and realize it isn't the best show ever created. Oh wait, too late, damn.

I saw the intro of Code Geass today. And, well...I switched the channel after seeing the map that showed the SUPER EVIL COUNTRY (Even with the shitty name/flag they gave it, it was basically America. A funny note, the other countries' names were unchanged) that conquered Japan in the most evil of manners, for no apparent reason. Then some faggot twink starts talking and I just...well, as I stated before, I switched the channel.

:psy: Britannia? It's supposed to be the British Empire.  You know, largest empire in the history of the world? Plantations in Ireland? Pretty much gobbled up India? American colonies kinda didn't like them? You honestly didn't make this connection with the name?

You mean this exact flag. I had to look it up, you see, because I've never actually seen this show. The most hilarious thing about this flag is that it only resembles an American flag in that it has red, white, and blue on it. Never mind that it's essentially a Union Jack with the diagonals cut out and a stereotypically British coat of arms slapped in the middle.

If by intro you mean the first episode I would highly reccommend you give CG another shot. The first episode is pretty bad imo, but it gets better from there.

Well, considering it looked like it took place in semi-modern times, I figured this took place when America was, well, free. But oh well, I didn't see much past the first 30 seconds of the intro, so if it takes place in an alernate Earth, I wouldn't know.

Yes, Code GEASS is set in alternate Earth where the British Empire has become the premium superpower, continuing to expand, rather than collapsing as it did. Not to mention the British invent Mecha first, and use them to conquer Japan. Huzzah. The roots are evident in the names of the Mecha models: aka. Lancelot, Glasgow, Sutherland, Gawain, and the fact that there are Knights of the Rounds.

I always just figured that the Brittainian Empire was just a little bit of Engrish on the makers part. Its technically not entirely false, since I still remember having to learn to sing 'Rule Britainnia!' back in primary school since we had quite a patriotic headmaster.

But ye gads, listen to me babble. (yeah I like GEASS, so sue me)

The worst anime ever: EASY! Thats 'Sister Princess Repure'. I wanted to crack my own head with a shovel after watching it. Although the anime adaptation of 'Rosario + Vampire' recently was almost as bad...

Death note is crap compared to Higurashi no naku koro ni or Code Geass!

And as for Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, DBZ, Ghost in the shell, And all other whatnot... I never really liked them but I never found a reason to hate them either.

Ballad of a Shinigami (Momo: the god girl of death), Air, Yugioh, Witch Hunter Robin...WHR started very promising for me, but then, I just couldn't care less. I just stopped watching the subbs (I was buying the dvds before the dub was released) and I didn't care if Robin blew up in a freak car accident or w/e. I could live if the entire series ended with the world exploding randomly. Then like 2 years later it was on ytv dubbed. I think the same could be said for Trinity Blood though...very good and promising, but when the writer died without leaving a story board it all fell to pieces.
