The Worst/Most Boring Anime You've Ever Watched

I Hate all American Dubbed anime, there is no point. It's for retards or it is for children who can't read, but then it is also cut, so ultimately pointless.

So yeah, just about any dubbed anime is crap with 1 exception, Cowboy Bebop, now that (especially the film is decent if not great dubbed to American) but that's IT, ever, okay?!

I don't understand why people say naruto is bad, i mean... the first 70 episodes are excellent, but admittedly, after that it is SHOCKINGLY TERRIBLE. :thumb:

I have watched a lot of Anime... But I managed to not come across many bad ones because I read reviews before I acquire them.

Yes, I'm a retard because I don't like hearing high pitched anime VA's (Who are the same as the VAs from over 100 different animes) while being forced to read a line that usually goes by too quickly for slow readers like myself to catch. The problem with anime isn't the dubs, it's the anime itself. Everything out there is just generic shit, with recycled main characters, recycled stories...oh, and recycled animation to top it off. Of course, there are exceptions (DBZ, Death Note, FLCL, Paranoia Agent, Eureka Seven), but the fact is that if you name a single anime character, I can probably find five different characters just like him/her in seperate animes.

Well take Yu-GI-Oh! for example. In the dub they fucking changed the dialogue, left stuff out, added new stuff... Generally made it more childish. So the dub is the problem some times.
And for the highpitched voices... That was a stupid statement. I have watched anime and sometimes thought: "Wow, that guy has a deep voice." If you need an example: Kenpachi Zaraki from Bleach Or Bradley(Was this his name?) from FMA.
Maybe the VA's sometimes spoke in another anime too, but same goes for American dubs. And if you are from Germany (like me...) you will think of those many different voices as amazing, because here they use the same fucking VA's for EVERY Anime there is.
(End random rant)

The low pitched voices are fine (Ike in SSBB), but you can't blame the dub for everything. And about the VA's, Japan uses the same VAs for plenty of things, both for animes and games. That's why I paticularly like the animes that I mentioned, since they break the stereotype of most generic anime while creating an interesting storyline to follow.

But it's the same in America. There aren't unlimited supplies of VA's so you have to double them. And what is the problem to use them twice, when they are good? You could also blame movies for using the same actors.

Oh trust me, the JP voice actors aren't just in "two" animes. Most VAs from the area have at least 15 animes under their belt, and maybe 5-10 games. And there's a difference between actors and VAs. VAs don't need to work as hard as  movie actors, since movie actors need to make the right gestures, walk in the right way, hell, even breath in a certain way.

That said, I do agree that America is plauged with the same problem. But Americans are usually better at getting a tone down that isn't down-right annoying.

And there i disagree.
Personally I think Japanese VA's are better, simply because they are better at getting the feeling right. I think of far more japanese VA's that they fit to there role, than american ones do.

But since thats subjective lets stop that silly argument and get back to topic, okay?

Hmmm...The worst anime I ever watched is Ranma1/2, the manga is better. And the most boring anime I\ve ever watched is Love Hina, noooooo comments...

Hm... I just started love hina... It was boring up to episode 4, now it started rocking ^^ It is really funny.^^ I am at episode 13 right now. But that's just me, talking. I enjoy it for being the good old anime and not some of those who are trying to be way different and fail... It is not my favorit but not bas at all...

Worst- Ghost in the Shell complex or Full Metal Alchemist (I would have put more, but I don't think mangas counted)
Best- Dragonball (NOT Z!) and Azumanga Daoih ^_^

Bakugan. Have you guys seen this? It's this new piece of shit Cartoon Network picked up to replace Yugioh GX(Which was also awful.) The character designs are horrible. The characters themselves... are barely characters. The entire show is about rolling balls onto giant trading cards so that uninspired Yugioh monster knockoffs can fight each other using rules that make no sense and are basically made up as they go.

Blue Dragon is pretty sucky from what I've seen of it to. Never played the game, but the anime's story is utter garbage so far.

Dragon Ball Z really is awful looking back. I used to like it a lot, but now I can't stand to watch it.

One Piece was awful while 4Kids had it, but now that Funimation has taken over it is worth watching again.

The worst anime.......I forgot the name, but it was a bunch of kids playing tennis with super powers like "fast shot" or "trick shot". WTF I DONT CARE ABOUT TENNIS.... unless the balls explode upon impact.

Prince of Tennis, most likely. And yes. It's very boring to people like us who could not give two damns about tennis.

As far as my pick for most boring goes, I'd have to hand it to Munto. Thank you, new anime club member, for this profoundly mind-numbing evening.

Most Boring would have to be Someday's Dreamers. A few episodes in I was done. Can't believe I bought the whole pack just cuz it looked good :<

As for worst, I'll give that to Canvas 2. They got me watching 23 episodes just to watch the last episode that looked like the writers quit and they hired an incest/pedophile loving maniac to finish it. What a waste of time.

I nominate Pokemon as boring anime and Inuyasha as the worst of all.
Wait, I still have long list to go....

I haven't add Rave, Naruto, Tokyo Mew-Mew,
and all of Clamp's <<< cuz they're so gay! (except Card Captor Sakura)

I saw the intro of Code Geass today. And, well...I switched the channel after seeing the map that showed the SUPER EVIL COUNTRY (Even with the shitty name/flag they gave it, it was basically America. A funny note, the other countries' names were unchanged) that conquered Japan in the most evil of manners, for no apparent reason. Then some faggot twink starts talking and I just...well, as I stated before, I switched the channel.
