@Xilef: Lel CC basically already nailed what I was gonna say on the head, but truthfully I just tend to forget when I'm doing quickies. When I'm doing proper pieces, yeah-- you can bet I do that kinda thing often.

On that topic, here's another speed draw result, I basically HAD to do this in under four hours because of what I was drawing it for: a daily draw chalenge (theme: electricity) which I of-course, had multitudes of rad ideas for, but this one was the one I wanted to do most. I fucked up a few things, namely, the left hand has its fingers and thumb around the wrong way, but also the legs look a little awkward, but I didn't have eons to spend on these things!

I am really happy with the powerful atmosphere. Also her big open smile is to die for!

This was a very fun piece, firstly because Sacreblu's dress is just fun to draw, but I also was able to have her hair out this time, and the palette is also just wonderful to work with.

Not to sound like a dick but I really don't think "electricity" when I see that, mainly because the lines are too smooth and curved... I doubt you're going to touch it up or anything, but if you decide to, I'd suggest making those lines sharper/jagged, and maybe add some extra lines of varying length around them too to make it feel like the electricity is jumping around... if that makes sense? I don't even know, I've been up since mega early and I'm gonna' head to bed since my vision keeps going blurry with how tired I am... g'night!

Yeah I uh, already had this discussion with one of my art dudes, and I agree, I'm just too impatient to turn off my SMOOTHLINE BENDFUCKER 3000 stroke stabilizer. I could easily go back and touch it up since the lightning is all on a different layer, maybe I will, along with her weird right hand thing. But not tonight, it's almost time for bed.

These are often quite fun to watch, here's the one from the Sacreblu I posted recently, I did record it at the time, just I knew it was gonna take a while to process it into a short enough clip for a speed draw so I procrastinated on that a bit.

I've done no big pieces since that one, not for a lack of productivity, just all my time and effort has been spent on Intelligence 314's MV port.

The new faces with borders and backgrounds, only ones left alone for now are the retro 96x96 faces from VERY early intelligence builds.

Should be noted some of the art there isn't mine, this is the collective efforts of the CCC and myself over the past 3 years (almost four now).

Idk how much this looks like her. I just started a pose and went with it. Spent almost 20mins on it, I'm guessing.
I was going to leave her face blank, because of the angle. I added an eye last minute - looks weird, like i need to draw a nose or something. And her other arm.
edit: Bah, might as well fix it real quick.
