That looks really good, am envious.

After I finished watching Penny-Arcade StripSearch last night I went and drew my own strip.

First traditional comic strip in over eight years, pretty happy with it.

I might mention I have an uncontrollable fear of rulers and straight lines...

The main thing I like about this forum is everyone has their own style, pretty snazzy character defining styles. You can tell who made a piece from a mile off. I know I don't contribute to this thread but I watch it intently.

The other day at work, my software wasn't working, so while IT sorted it I spent all day doodling...

So remember in PWOYM I said I was seriously considering turning my own superhero (Captain Tie Dye) into a proper comic thing... well I've been working on some other heroes and villains, one of his super friends is called "The Fly", he doesn't really look too super, except he is literally a human with a fly head... but his special ability is that he can shrink himself down to the size of a fly, and he's pretty much the team's recon guy, he infiltrates the bad guys' evil lair and shit, y'know... like a spy!

Spoiler: Have to put it in a spoiler since the picture is wide... and yeah I know the lines could be better, but fuck you it's pretty much 6am and I only spent half an hour in total:

His emblem is supposed to be some sort of fancy camera lens, lol... also I'm not sure why I went for a punching pose, think it's just because I was practising poses anyway, and decided to just expand on one with a costume and shit, lol... oh well, he can fight too, he's not ONLY for spying!

I'm working on another super friend called "Pogo Pete", can you guess why he's named that? ...Don't have anything to show of him yet though.

I like what you did with The Fly. Even though his power is simply changing his size, you still managed to make him useful for the team!

I've been working on a short platform/RPG. It's called Grey World: Lukas Odyssey.
Here are some designs for some characters.

Top left: Luka. The hero
2nd: Moishi. The merchant who sells you gear for Oinz. You can also do "Oin forging" with him to make cool weapons.
3rd: "Masked Man"/Vesil: The main antagonist who is trying to obtain the kings crown for mysterious purposes.
4th: "Strange Hologram" A guiding voice who helps you in your trails.
5th (bottom left): Maya: The "Well Wisher" who greets those that come from the "well"
6th: Berserk Knight: Allegedly a great hero of old. He possesses great strength and dog like fighting skills (10 points if you get this reference.)
7th: Old man Misha: An old man who is slowly building a town for those who come from the well.
8th: Max: A young boy who wishes to be a great protector of his grandpas town. He trains hard but his mother worries about him a lot.

That's what I've got so far, although there is more plot and story, this is all I feel like posting atm.

Potion, nice designs, but you should really shrink your images before uploading them. Such a huge picture is hard to look at.

Ahaha, the amount of unfinished games I still have that I entirely intend to work on at a later date is unreal. Like, my ideas overtake other ideas and that loop repeats about 5 times and then I give up before restarting that loop again.
This time, the idea of Grey World is actually quite simple, but I think it could get quite complex to make... And then theres the case of getting music, which for me isn't hard cause Gabriel is nice enough to make music if I ask, and it's a privilege I take advantage of too often, but I'm glad he enjoys making music enough to let me do that, but I've also gotta get sprites together too and shit. We have a spriter, but I have no money right now and won't do until about November, so the actual sprites won't be done until December - January.

Sorry, I kinda went on a rant there, I just got thinking about the longevity of this project...

Thanks Peri, I wanted something simple but still gets the point across.
I know the image is HUGE, and I apologize for that, but I think it was actually uploaded from my phone so I couldn't do anything about it then, and I still haven't cause I'm lazy! But I could do it now, and I might, to save your eyes :P

This is Darrin Lyker – a random original character with no story to call “home”.

Another one of my original characters, Clover. :] She is an herbalist, and takes plant life very serious. Her antlers are part of the headband she wears.
