I made a fog render! Looks fairly bland right now. Need to work on a pixel shader system to add in some nicer effects, as well as a real lighting system.

It's less a fog system and more a universal overlay system. It'll be used for rendering map-specific overlays be it a lighting effect, fog effect, tint effect etc.

The one I'm using there looks terrible because I haven't got around to adding rendering styles. At the moment it's just a semi-transparent texture. It'll look a lot better when I add a sub. effect.
 
Mark, you can see what I said about this screenshot in the mapping improvement thread. Apart from that, I believe you're not supposed to post the same image in both threads.

Mark: I like the menu and the mapping is okay. I just think that the objects are too random that the map becomes a little poluted.

Sailerius: really cool the menu! No complanings dude. And the faces are awesome.

@Stars: nice style! That bridge is pretty cool, but the cell doors aren't quite high enough. That roof also extends a lot, and the tall grass is kinda funky (throws off the perception, how the basket and box plants are positioned right over it).

@Eriol: Tileset looks pretty cool, though I'm not sure why you'd shove modern/sci-fi buildings right in the middle of an RPG-esque forest. That aside, I would maybe space the interior better (if the buildings are about the same size inside as outside, you should space them as far away too).
