There's already a demo in the topic from about 2 months ago. Currently working on the next demo which is just an update to the previous to add everything that was missing (a story, some sprites) which is technically done but needs bugtested.
@fbu: The backgrounds are just rips with some content aware fill to make them bigger. :M
The face sprites and spell are original, almost everything else in those screens is rips from FE7, or edits to make them work with the larger screen size.
Personally I really like that screen except for it being way too dark. I imported it into Firefox and raised the brightness and contrast and saw the detail in it - it's a nice piece of artwork. But at the current brightness/contrast I have trouble reading the text and couldn't even tell the faces were there. Perhaps it's my monitor, but it is using factory settings as I'm sure most people do.
Wyatt it feels really off-center. I like fox's fade, but I would have less darkness (maybe only 1-2 tiles away from the border) taking over the screen.
@gRaViJa: I like the whole atmosphere, but I think it could be improved by using another panorama that fits the mood better. I could recommend you to Reives' panaromas, those are pretty good and will definitely suit your scene better.
The cliffs could use a bit more variety, too, and less straight. Other than that, I think it's nice. :D
It seems that game that are made by a native speaker of a language other than english are usually multilanguage (outside of the professional realm of game development, i mean). Also wyatt, i would keep the chat send as control always. It makes more sense in a game where every time you want to confirm and action, you are pressing enter, to not have chat send be enter.
@grivaja
On my screen the screentone is way too dark and blue. Actually I can't make out much beside the two chars and a light effect :/.
@fbu:
Have you drawn your title screen by yourself? It looks really good although it remembers me a bit too mutch of RE5. I think that I would make the picture a bit brighter to show more details.
@mouse:
The menu seems good structured-
@me:
I've started to rip a few SD3 graphics and use the maker again after a break of roughly a year or so.
I'm still working on the graphics though since the scaled versions don't always perfectly match up and a few glitches appear here and there as seen on the rock on the left of the screen.
Mapping is not as good as it could be but it is more of a testscreen than anything I'll use latermore.
Looks good but the Logo looks out of place, the board looks good but the actual logo doesn't fit with the rest.
In other news, in my continued futile attempt to make anything passable out of my very little free time, I've frankenrippedspritedcontrastedbastardisedstolen another tree. Please ignore the wierd windows that are coming in, I couldn't be bothered to take this a second time.
A cliff that runs through a mountain range. That's about it. It is... erm... Green.
Much much prefer the bottom-left tree to the standard ones in the tileset. It actually looks tree shaped for one thing, and the extra contrast and colour is great.
