Malachi: I like it! The colours give off a really bright and cheery appearance. It's a bit weird that there are streetlights on the actual street. Try either narrowing the road or creating another space between the road and the buildings.

nahchito: Looks decent. I like the fact that there are arrows in some places though-small details like that really improve the atmosphere of the map. I will say that the clump of trees at the bottom looks a little bizarre though. IMO the whole "on-top of the trees" autotile isn't really necessary there.

yeah I noticed that when I posted the picture.

Well, that "fences in random areas" are fences of a fortress or a wall that was used to resist an attack (notice the dead warriors)
If you didn't notice that, then I'll have to change the position of everything because the point of that map was to show an old battle.

Oh, well now that you mention it, I can sort of see that, but it still looks like they are just random fences. It would have been better if they were broken up bits or looked aged. You don't really have to re-do the whole map, just try and make it look like the fences aren't recent.
 
Not sure if you noticed, but the shadow of the top-middle tree is cut off by the white flower petals.

I think it's pretty obvious a battle happened there. However, it seems very recent, like those people were killed just days or even hours before. If you want to show a very old battle bones and skeletons are probably your best bet. Problem is that it's hard to find good skeletons for RPG Maker. :/

Night is more blue + less colorfull than just less brighter.

And I have a question : Where can we post our videos of our games/projects ? There is a topic for screenshots but not for videos ?

Naah, go ahead and pose a video in this topic. People have posted videos here in the past, so go for it.
 
Yeah just post the video, since its the same as posting a Map ( I think ).

Edit: Meanwhile, help me out with my map in the map improvement thread.  :lol:

you can post links to videos here too if you wish. The reason for there being no thread specifically for videos is because not many people really make videos, so it'd get far less posts an therefore be superfluous. Think of this thread less as the "screenshot thread" and more as the "pimp your project with eyecandies thread".

That's very dark, chum. Can't really see what's going on.

It is too dark to see where you are going.
I know you said the HUD was a wip but you could make it disappear when you are in a cutscene, like that one.

Weird, it's lighter in game, it must've darkened with the upload for some reason. Also that's not a cut scene but an actual fight so you'd need the hud, what I meant with the WIP that it looks a bit crappy and the position is bad.

The boss?

It's a creation by a necromancer the main character is supposed to kill. He encounters it in a dungeon that ends up in the middle of a huge tower where the necromancer lives. The boss fight itself isn't too hard, especially once you understand the attack pattern and have some skill.
