nothing much to say. The first is the title screen and the second it's just a test of how the city tilesets looks in game, i'm working on more buildings...

@blazinhandle: the font you used in that hud, the one that shows "Life", "Stamina" and "Adrenaline" makes it difficult to read and it's too small. The rest is good but you can explain what exactly are those icons at the bottom (the sword and... the rest).
 
@Gamerage: Oh goodness is that a mech strategy game I see?! Can't wait ^^ sorry to hear 'bout your other game though>.>
EDIT: sorry, confused something for something else for a second there. First two sentences stills stands!

@Kicks: Tea looks cute in teh XP sprite style, are you going with that instead of customized tilesets now?

Kinda hard to critique a bathroom, the only thing I could suggest is to bring the back wall down a tile width cause it still seems kinda big for even a public restroom with only one stall.
 
@Kicks: The counter looks as if it is laying atop the tile of the wash room, perhaps elongate the shadow so it adds height to the counter. Also those mirrors look a lot bigger than the character sprite perhaps reduce the size of some of the Tilesets, if you are using a Character Sprite of that size.

@Bruno: Looks awesome man, I love the mood and the atmosphere.

Yeah, I'm going with the RTP style. See the thread for the full story, but basically, this is way faster and I can still do custom stuff while having access to lots of RTP resources.

Yeah I really struggled with making the countertop look right in the space. I'll keep working at it.

I didn't even notice how huge the mirrors were. LOL. I think it's because I drew them with 3 tiles high ceiling in mind... which is way too big I think. I should stick to 2. At least for the bathroom, heh.
 
That's the biggest toilet cubicle I've ever seen. If you made it one tile wide you could have two cubicles, then it would justify the two sinks and mirrors :p

@Kicks; That's good, right?

@Simacir: Hmm, if you're going for a realistic feel for the game, as apparent by your indoor mapping, perfectly rounded trees seem a bit object-defeating. Add more shape to the leaves and such.
 
Wow, Simacir, that looks really good. Thats one of the best custom tilesets I've seen.

Talking of tilesets, I've been working on a few of my own. I have never liked how bright and colourful the RTP is, and I know quite a few people have tried darkening the RTP down. I have been creating my own RTP, as such, with re-colours and edits of the original RTP. If people like this screen, I will be release everything I have done and am doing so far - that means characters, tilesets, autotiles - so that people can create games that have a darker atmosphere.

And I've just relised how much it looks like the Q-TBV tilesets. Anyway, tell me what you think. Have I done well so far at creating a slightly better RTP.

(Oh, and sorry for the bad mapping, I just want to know what you all think of the tileset.)

That's looking really good man. You may want to make some alternate tiles for the bases of the trees, reeds and fence that show grass overlapping the bottoms.

Here's some more. Worked on a bunch of new stuff, but still haven't fixed the counter/sink. I think its a bit too big. I'll mess more tomorrow. Here's Arshes, because I'm not done with my Tea chara. I want the urinals to be the raised ones, but its really hard to make them rest right in the space. They may have to become the ones that run into the floor. The toilet may be a hair to big.
