@ Kira: its very... photoshopy, like when someone just slaps a preprogramed effect onto a font and says its done. and its somewhat plain and very centered, which bugs me a little bit, you can have balance, and not be centered.
 
BloodRage - The extension on the house that makes the side bit stick out,(That made no sense)but it should be darker or lighter depending on your light source. Screen should help a little more!

Good stuff, I especially love how the houses all look sturdy and sizable. But again, the overlay kind of take away from it; try putting the lights as "Add" instead of "Normal" blend. c:


Kind of old, but never really posted it on this thread. Plus I reuploaded it, hopefully those that couldn't load it can now.

Still some mapping glitches on the cliffs and roofs, etc. Should be fixed by release.  :smile:

This is my first map with this tile set. There are a few things I don't like in this map, such as the shadows(need to recolor) but in game, the map has a more realistic feel with the ambient sounds i added.

Take out the HUD. it's distracting and serves no purpose unless you have an action battle system. in which case a lof of that stuff is pointless anyway (like the face and the fancy fonts and stuff). Tone it down significantly or it will detract from the game itself, which should be the focus.
 
That's better, and the cosmetic fog actually looks pretty damn good there.  Nice job.

Also, there are plenty of ways to edit that ABS so the HUD isn't so overbearing.  You should try doing so; I can tell you right now that the equipment menu is kind of lame, and really serves no purpose except to the lazy.
