Almost done with this CMS. Just need to throw in one or two more things.

Sweet menu there. I like how the cursor gives the blue fade also. (I presume thats showing the cursor, anyway). The font works well with it too.

air sparkles? it doesnt look like that foutain is spraying into the air... so how would it sparkle? maybe youd be better off editing out 3 sparkles and only use one...

@Wyatt: I like it, especially the animal bones in the sand, but I don't think the water would curve a formation like that, to be honest.

I suppose it could be said it's just a sandbar, and I'm sure someone out there can send a google picture to prove that it can happen, but the water protrusion seems awkward to me none the less.

@fox5:
Your houses have a good style, but looks a bit odd when you see 3 houses exactly equal in the same map all them so near...
And your forest looks very nice, the only errors i see are the waterfalls(water too dark, bright grass, hills don't match) and the tall grass growing in the water.

@Wyatt:
Your new sand looks a bit too dark. I understand your idea is to make the sand not so bright, but the beaches have a bright sand. Except by this, it looks good(mainly for a desert).  I've also noticed a Color change in the hills that looks a bit awful

This very WIP screenie will either make Atemu very happy or very sad.

:eek: <3

The front looks rather... FLAT though.  I don't know if it's just because the perspective's off, or it's just not done yet.  :x

EDIT: Also, now that I think about it, it'd be great if you could make an autotile or something that makes it look like sanddunes.  One thing that annoys me the most out of the default desert tilesets is that doing so is near impossible to do.  >_<

Lighten one side and darken the other. That will increase the depth. Also add some descending lighting coming from around the pinnacle. The corners are too straight, considering this is made from blocks of sandstone; tweak them to look more imperfect. Shape's good.

Yeah, that's better Wyatt. The shape's still too uniform though.

Fox5, in your first screen, it seems a little illogical that there would be trees growing through a rocky surface. You may want to consider adding multiple levels of cliffs as another way to add detail. In your second screen, you need more detail on the cliffs to the left of the screen and those at the top. A lot of your de-saturated tiles don't mesh well with your other tiles. Also, your waterfall clashes horribly with your water.

It's not a person but my point still stands. If people die in water why can't a creature? The creature is a sea monster, which died in an attack with some predator. It's bones washed up on the shore of a nearby beach.
