@Wumpi, yes i have to agree with 006. They do clash a little, but it still looks quite good.

I really like it - they don't clash so much as pop, which makes the sprites easier to see.
Honestly, I LOVE the style(s).

The detail of the sprite makes the background look extremely WIP. If it is WIP then hey that's okay then.

Samboy and I have tried quite a few CMS and CBS's, but they either stuff up or just don't work well with the game, for anybody who has played the demo the self timing script is for the start up.

EDIT: Oh BTW, for those questioning about the legal version a page or so back. A person doesn't hide the taskbar and the upper blue bar thingy for no reason.

There are many signs if someone has an illegal version. It's basically different names for event actions and the editor is laid out slightly differently.

Dude... that alone is pretty dumb... If you were taking an image in the editor of course you'd crop it... why would you make the image larger and stretch the forums for no reason.  And we know there's different names for event actions, which we can't see in his screen, besides we aren't supposed to be PK Nazi's anymore.

Tiollo a lot of your lighting effects (mostly the light flowing through the window) are really oversaturated/too bright and as a result it overpowers the rest of the scene. Tone them down a little!

Looks better than most of the washed out lighting effects most people use, in my opinion.  At least it looks like lighting..and not just white and yellow blobs.  =)  I like it..but yes it could be toned down a bit.

This is still WIP, with quite a few mapping glitches on the houses and etc. I am also planning to do something about the vertical bridge, as it has been reported of looking awkward.

Looks great Reives. Though I'd discourage the use of that undulation? autotile, it seems really ugly. Maybe you could replace it with flowers of a different colour scheme. The bridge does look akward indeed, unfortunately I don't have any suggestions as to how you could improve upon it.

Ah, that's true with the undulations. I could probably find a lot better use of those autotile slots as well. Thanks for the tip, I'm going to change that. About the bridge, I'm thinking of adding some shadow beneath it - That should give some sense of elevation, hopefully.

Love the new screen, Reives!  The one thing that seemed off to me though, was the colour of the windows/ladders on the wooden houses (Forest Town).  The dimmed house really brings out the red and purple hues in the windows and such.  Nothing that a minute of tweaking couldn't fix ^-^

Looking great so far.

Methinks the bridge would look better and less awkward slanting down in the middle, a "curvey" bridge, if you will.
