WOW! FINALLY! A MAP THAT TOPS MY DARKNESS! Anyway, yeah that sprite has no neck..

It looks good, and all, but it's kinda dark, and hard to see.

Hmm.  Maybe I'll make it a little lighter.

The icicles in the lower-right befuddle me.

On the floating islands, there's a bunch of random miscellany.  I think the ice just stands out because it's colored in comparison to the mostly monochrome map...maybe I'll swap it out for rocks.

Also, that sprite has no neck! Seriously, it looks bad.

Yeah, yeah, it's a placeholder.

Ah, well, it is a desert, plus, maps with tons of little details don't look good in VX. I suppose I also positioned those screens in the less-detailed areas...

I think we've had enough "I'm messing with the RMVX RTP" screenshots for now. We're all familiar with the look of it at this point.

Can we go back to seeing actual screenshots of peoples' projects?

Des, that looks sweet, but the doorway in the cliff wall needs some work.

Very nice, Despain.  Simplistic without looking bare.  The only thing that bugs me about it is the well.  It seems either too saturated or too bright (I can't decide) and was the first thing to stand out to me... unless it's supposed to be important, that is.

I like the idea of that building. The well and the wooden box thing seems just slightly over-saturated relative to its surroundings, though.

Don't count on it.  Despain never finishes anything.

Nice map Despain.  I'm not really feeling the sand mounds at the top, though.  I don't really think they look good on any map...it gives it that 'blocky' feel.

Also, the stairs don't fit properly on the mountain.  You also might want to fix the transparencies on the shadows for many of the items, as well. (ie. shovel, tree)
