@ Tinusss: wow, that water and waterfall look AMAZING, where did you get the autotiles if you dont mind me asking?

the mapping it great to, i jsut have a little bit of a problem with the building around the doorway/hole, the perspective seems off :\
 
@ lettuce Leaf: It's ok if you don't like it, nothing to be sorry about. I think I'm more concerned about ME liking it, and it seems to fit very well with the look i'm going for.
I couldn't be happier with it tbh :P
 
Avadan: I also think it looks too thick. Of all the bars I have been in or seen I have never seen one that looks like the place is on fire :)
 
The Building looks okay, but the grass and cliff could do with a little texture, at the moment its not up to the buildings standard.

Oh man. It's been a looooong time since I last posted. Guess I'll have to be more active from now on. =)

Well, here's something somewhat new from me. Just messing about with a mix of my older tilesets, not sure if this map will make it into my game. Please don't bother me over the railings up top, I'm looking for better ones..

And here's something I'm working on. It's an edit of the roof in the RTP post-town tileset, took a while to get it right. Tell me what you all think.

It took you a while to get it right, and still counting. You completely failed to utilize the tiles already made for making T-juncture roofs.

The flat roof is a nice touch, but it's a pretty tame edit. You can almost already mimic that exact 'edit' by simply using the flat roof from the Port Town building with the Post Town roof.
 
*points finger* Heeeey, you copied that from the Mapping Tutorial. :P

Anyways, this next screenshot took me a little bit longer than usual to make. I wanted to pay extra attention to this tileset, because it's one of the first maps in the game.

It's a house that was once expensive, but is, at the date of the screenshot, a big wreck and worth almost nothing anymore. Heck, it doesn't even have a TV.
 
I wrote the Mapping Tutorial, Twin :P,

I really like that, but consider making the rug into some pre-defined oval shapes, instead of an auto-tile. It looks pretty bad the way it is now.
