The PS3 is starting to kick ass!!

Oh yeah Agent by Rockstar, now I remember haha, completely forgot about it until just then, lol.

Also if someone can find the same GoW3 video I posted, but in better quality, can you please post it here for us, cheers. (Since you couldn't see what I meant by the zipper technology due to the horrible quality, it's just the first video link I clicked off google, lol)

But yeah I know what you mean by ModNation Racers, to be honest, I think they should have left something like this to Media molecule, since they know how to make this sort of creative stuff, LittleBigPlanet being their only example, but a damn fine one at that, lol.

Like I said, I'll take a look at Demon Souls tomorrow, although I don't much care for games that are MEANT to be hard, like they say "Hardest game ever made !!!", and all it does is stresses you out cause you can't get past a part, then you stop playing it, come back to it a few months later, and STILL can't beat the same part and get stressed out again... Sounds like Ninja Gaiden Sigma, lulz.

Yeah exactly, I don't like hard games, gaming needs to be relaxing. Thats why I am happy most games have difficulty select. and the games what have not well for RPG you can grind your ass of.. and for other.. well depends how much I die if I keep playing .

Well I personally don't find easy games rewarding and at the worst of times I find them insulting. I think it's one of the main reasons there is still a massive gap for indie developers to feed the purists with challenging but fair old school play. I really do get tired of being hand led through most games these days.

Anyway it looks like Baldurs Gate mixed with Oblivion. That's how I'd describe it. I don't know if its hard for sake of hard.

Lol, I guess it depends on the game, I think if a game has a really good storyline, then atleast make it slightly easy, cause you want the player to actually follow the story and finish it to the end...

However, if the game has a story for the sake of having one, and it's more cliché than something teengamer would make, then sure, you can up the difficulty to compensate for the (lack of) story.

it stil has to be doable, ever tried beating redic in killzone on elite? (well I can tell you as a shooter virgin thats impossible, I speak out of experience)

beyond awsomeness ,I think this is gonna be the first PS3 game i'm not gonna buy online cus I just don't want to wait lol .. xD gonna pre order it at gamestore

Look at all the awards.. try to visit their site (it's going wicked fucking slow for some reason) and watch those 3 videos they have in the media section.

oh.
my.
god.

just... fucking amazing. The train battle near the end of the opening cinematic is just fucking epic.

^The name Uncharted alone is already fucking amazing..

When I bought this game (after playing the demo) I thought his was one of those game that was like 'Yeha the games okay, beaten it ones or twice.) ..

but when I finished it was like : AGAAAAAAINNNN!!!! (I finished the game 3 times in 2 ddays xD call me addicted yeah)
Uncharted 1 was an instant classic (to think They didn't even wanted to make this THE WHERE FORCED , they wanted to make a new jak and axter but the big boss said no, first where gonna try something els).. and see what the result was ;)

Yeah, but I am pissed off that the new Jak and Daxter (The Lost Frontier) game is being put on PSP/PS2, since I really wanted to play a new Jak and Daxter in full HD graphics, I mean, Ratchet and Clank looks AMAZING in HD, so Jak and Daxter could only look anything plus that, lol (Considering the graphics of the first Uncharted, which, in my opinion, are better than some of this years games...), so I'll never forgive them for that, lol.

However, Uncharted 2 is looking fucking amazing, and if this increases the quality of graphics and textures above Killzone 2, then it looks like we're going to have one of the best games ever created, because we all know Uncharted: Drakes Fortune is an immense game with an amazing storyline, the twist is just awe inspring in terms of storywriting, lol.

Demons Souls isn't hard for the sake of being hard. It certainly is challenging and you will die multiple times. There's a lot of character customization, which I love. Its one of the few games where I was actually completely content with the character I created look and story wise.

The class system is nothing special, but it's done well which is good enough. They covered all of the bases with a Warrior, Mage, and Rogue class. They also hit everything in between, which is fantastic. I once again found myself with a class I was completely happy with for my character.

Weapon choice is highly important in situations, as certain enemies may require larger, faster, or longer weapons to get the job done. You'll spend the majority of your time fighting monsters larger than you, and the battle system is easy enough to adapt to. Calibre is right about the battle system. The battle system itself is like Oblivion, but it has the strategy of Baldur's Gate mixed in. Archery combat is easy to learn, as bows control like FPS guns. The magic system is like every other action RPG.

The online feature is nice. You can team up with two other players to take on levels. They also have a built in messaging/teaching like mode where players can leave hints and advice to each other. They also have a competitive mode where you can force your way into a player's game and take them on as an enemy. You of course have to find a game going on that is flagged for this option, so you don't have to worry about a guy triple your levels jumping into your game.

All in all, it's not a game for everyone. While Demon's Souls is a hard game, it's not hard for the sake of it. If you're up for a challenge and willing to learn, you can tangle dungeons with the best of them after playing for a while. There's always a challenge, so you'll never be bored.

If you're really interested in Demon's Souls, I'd suggest just importing it now. The Japanese version has English voice overs, though the menus are in Japanese. The Chinese/Singapore and Korean versions are both in their respective languages, but also provide a full English treatment. Both cost the exact same to import if you are in the US and you can play with everyone, regardless of which version you have.

I'd definitely recommend playing this game. I'd give it a solid 5/5. While it's not innovative, it brings together hundreds of action RPG concepts that have been done over the years and does them flawlessly. If you've ever been talking with your friends about a dream RPG with online content, this is it.

Hmm, well I'm gonna go take a look at it now, methinks.

I mean, it does seem interesting from what I've been told, lol.

And as for the "Dream RPG with online content", I've already found it anyways, it being White Knight Chronicles, I honeslty can't wait to play it, a few of my friends are buying a PS3 for Christmas just to play that one game, since it's 8 player online, but you have to split up into two parties of 4, but who cares, lol.

Yeah i've readed some review of WKC and the fact you can make own cobo's etc, and use online is going to be awsome :p .. Q1 2010 is the releaese :p

Yeah I know, can't bloody wait for it, it's taking waaay too long just to translate the bastard (I think that's what they'd be doing, since it's already out in Japan, unless the rest of the world gets something extra ? o.O)

But my friends are buying their PS3's just after christmas actually, since they'll get 'em cheaper on the sales (Only by like £50, but hey, it's still a saving, right ?), I'm also gonna' persuade 'em to buy Uncharted 2 by bringing 'em around to my house and putting it on infront of 'em, haha. (Although they all loved Uncharted 1 too, lol)... Although for some reason, they all think Killzone 2 is terrible, and they hate LittleBigPlanet... two of the best games on the PS3, strange, eh ? o.O

Jason

Awesome Bro

You should edit that list of "good times" with Gran Turismo 5 and White Knight Chronicles, lol.

But basically I'll be buying every game mentioned on that list, except maybe FFXIII, since I think vs. looks MUCH better, although it hasn't had as much publicity, I just think the whole dark story of it seems better than the usual cliché Final Fantasy story, and as it's meant to be violent/gory whatever, that excites my pants... lol.

lol you CLEARLY heared the newest news of FF13, the story is probably going to be one of the best..
L'Cie corpses (even party members can become L'Cie corpses)

Jason

Awesome Bro

Notice you used the word "probably", which means it "probably couldn't be the best" either...

But either way, I still think I'm gonna' like FFvsXIII better than FFXIII, lol.

I'm not sure; there is like really nothing known about it so I can't judge.. (But the fact this is gonna be the darkest, most bloody and most dramatic FF ever gives a huge expectaion, BUT knowing its by the team behind KH and TWEWY I have full faith))

ALSO some thing thats really intersting (Okay I know its gamefly but still :s)
http://kotaku.com/5324841/star-ocean-th ... -ps3-bound

I really hope Gamefly isn't running infront of itselves this time (cus if this is true i'll be makin a dance xD)

EDIT: I just remembered a title 'Ressonance of Fate' , not sure if its exclusive though :s

So it's going to be terribly bland in the character department and have a story that is at the same level as a Stephanie Meyer novel? Great.

Anything Nomura is involved in is doomed to be mediocre at best. I'll be picking up 13 Vs, as the director was ecstatic that he was not working with Nomura, and stressed this.
