Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 PS3 - £42.99 RRP: £54.99

Nowhere in the history of UK shops, will they sell the game for £54.99... not even £49.99

When games are brand new they retail between £30-40 and maybe £45 for the collectors edition.

I hate sites that do that, it really annoys me for some reason.

You spent about 5 € on bioshock than you should have if you got it at realease. That equates to $75 USD, and games are $60 new. That game is actually about $20-30 now brand new depending on the system, which should make it about 7-10 € with current exchange rates.

This bit of text is homosexual for 2 reasons jbrist.

Firstly, why are you even looking what the RRP says... if a new release says £30 or less on the site and it's selling for £40 in GAME then you are getting a good deal. The RRP means nothing. Plus nearly every site have the RRP displayed and at it's maximum rate.

Secondly you picked Call of Duty as an example, the one game that has retained its value it's whole lifespan and that also DOES have a higher RRP than every other game. Modern Warfare 2 is up for pre order of 45 pound on internet sites! It WILL be 50+ in shops on release day, with an rrp i think of 54.99. I bet that's what game sells it for release day.

Lol yeah, did anyone see GoW3 at E3 this year ? If not, go check out the gameplay video, maybe you'll find a HD video of it on gametrailers or something, it looked fucking epic, lol.

I thought it looked fairly disappointing, and most major publications agreed with me. GamesTm even put it in their Top 5 Disappointments of E3 and I currently am on their wavelength with most things. It didn't look bad of course, it just looks like it's going to be God or War HD and little more.

Be more excited about the potential of Agent, the life absorption of Demon Souls, the will it won't it of Heavy Rain, the simplicity in beauty of The last Guardian. I'm hoping ModNation Racers is going to be overhauled, but I think it might turn out little more than a generic kart racer with not enough customization so every downloaded track can't stand out enough from others. If it allowed people to unlock real creativity like LBP then fucking huge it will be. I think it will be a missed opportunity right now, hope I am wrong.

Who needs to list sequels when we have all those fresh experiences coming. Needless to say I'll just end up playing Fifa 10 99% of the time.

no we've seen a video a e3, and its a successor to Ico and SoTC, it's bound to be great.

I said, i was dissapointed by GoW a little because it looked like GoW 2.5 HD. It doesn't look like it's really embraced the step up in technology whereas original ip's like Uncharted clearly have.

Lol Aepriz, The Last Guardian had a trailer at E3, looked pretty interesting if I might say so...

Calibre, I thought ModNation Racers looks really cool, although I hope that the area on which they built the track isn't only how big you can make it, since that didn't look like much room, and I wonder if they'll allow you to implement loops and crazy devices in it, lol, it sort of reminds me of the PS3's own Mario Kart, lol.

Don't get me started with Heavy Rain, I'm really looking forward to it, I guess it's cause I was a big fan of Farenheit on the PS2, lol.

I didn't watch anything on Demon Souls, not sure why, I'll check it out after my MRA Scan tomorrow, look at some vids (If there are any) and see what I think.

Not sure what Agent is, unless you meant The Agency, the MMO Shooter ?

And yeah, mawk, Bluray films look bloody immense if you compare them side-by-side with their original DVD counterparts, especially animted films such as Monster Inc. or even Madagascar, those colours are fucking amazing, haha.

as for GoW, Well knwoing they are probably boing to redo the models (SE did the same with FF13 a while ago, though those graphics where already best of the best).. and ther also doing the inside of enemies Jbrist told so the graphics will prolly be made better

Demon Souls is a RPG dungeon crawler that's insanely hard and deep and has been out in Japan for some time, recently penned for NA and (I think Europe).

I don't mean the Agency, I mean the Agent. A brand new exclusive IP being made by rockstar and has been in dev for well over 2 years. Little is known about it, but this is the makers of GTA making a game using only one consoles power, with a lot of time to do so. It's going to be a bout stealth and deception and tings.

If they want to make the PS3 answer to Mario Kart, just copy Mario Kart and mix with the ps1 version of Crash Team Racing, (which is by far the best kart raver ever for me, at the time it was anyway).

Modnation Racers looks like an average PC kart racer right now with a relatively restrictive track editor. The idea is great but I don't think the execution will be. We are members of a creatives forum. If I want to do a spiralling track up a dildo then thats what I want to do... not jungle, ice temple or woodlands. If it's like that then fuck the whole thing.
