Or it may even be in the process of kicking ass! That's right PS3 fanboys, you now have something to back up your opinions, because games such as MAG and God of War III are coming out! I can't f*cking wait!! Oh yeah, and Assassin's Creed II! (but it's multiplatform...but still!)

So yeah, I'm glad people are starting to look up more to the system and see the god of a console it really is. This thread will be less about the PS3 in general, and more about God of War III, because that it will kick ass alone lol.

Dante's Inferno (I think this is gonna be a GoW killer, more brutal combat, bigger enemies)

Aepriz, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is also the first Team Ninja game to have online, so we get the exclusive Co-op Campaign with up to four people, amazing eh...

You'll all see, one day the PS3 will beat the fuck out of the 360 !

Okay enough of that, I'll talk about God of War III now...

So Sony said that the game appears to be too violent for the internet, I mean what the fuck, although I agree considering the amount of gore in it, ripping someones head off with your bare hands isn't something you see everyday, and the gameplay video of it at E3 was amazing, lol...

The game got delayed from Winter 09 to March 2010, but they have a good reason... ADDING MORE GORE, they're adding a new thing called "Zipper Technology", which allows them to model the insides of enemies, stick them inside, so you can cut them open and watch their intestines etc. pour out... that just sounds so grousome and amazing, lol.

But yeah I'm REALLY looking forward to this.

Oh and Aepriz, you should've added Final Fantasy XIV (14) to that too, since it's for PS3/PC, sure it isn't exclusive, but console wise it is, lol... just like DC Universe Online and The Agency, those games look pretty amazing too, go check 'em out !

I haven't added FF14 cus there is nothing known about it except the team that works on it and the teaser they have shown.. ow and the fact that it will be releasex before FFvs13 ..

as for the ninja gaiden, still no interest.. the first game sucked imo..

Btw, Heavy Rain wasn't that an exclusive to ? (or am I thinking about the wrong game?)


and for god of war, holy christ.. modeling the inside of enemies (this game is gonna be great.. really enjoyed first 2 .. except they where full of bugs )

Yeah, Heavy Rain is PS3 Exclusive too, if anyone liked Farenheit for the PS2, it's by the same people, and same principles etc... ANYTHING you do affects the ending, there's no such thing as a game over on this game, just a game ending, once all four characters die, an ending will play, if you complete the game, and one dies, an ending will play etc. etc., if you finish the game without talking to someone, you'll get a different ending to if you DID talk to someone, that's pretty impressive if you ask me, I mean, from the trailers and gameplay, it looks amazing, the graphics are just stunning and I'm really digging the storyline, lol.

And yeah Aepriz, modelling the insides of enemies, haha...

And I actually really love Ninja Gaiden Sigma, despite how fucking hard it is, lol.

And well, I guess we don't know too much about FFXIV, but hey, it's still something, eh...

Another game you should check out, exclusive to PS3 is White Knight Chronicles, it's already out in Japan and is apparently expected around Christmas this year for us, pretty sweet. How a game can have 100 hours of gameplay just on the storyline and not sidequests, I have NO idea, add to that a 4 player online co-op or freeroam just killing minibosses etc, and you've got yourself one amazingly kickass game, and I'm really looking forward to it, lol.

And to add onto Uncharted 2, which has Multiplayer (Woo), apparently, compared to the amount of rendering and textures, the first Uncharted, which by the way, looked fucking AMAZING, was only 30% of the quality they're using for Uncharted 2, meaning it's going to look (up to) 3x better in theory, I mean, is that even possible ? I can't wait to get my hands on this game, lol.

Lol this sucks, I keep posting, THEN remembering games to mention lol...

Gran Turismo 5, apparently it's been ready to release for a few months now, but they've decided to polish it off by going through all the models again and adding on, and apparently adding a few more cars etc. into the mix, the game is due for release Q4 this year, and I'm REALLY looking forward to it, I mean, go to their website and look at the screenshots, and tell me they don't look realistic, sites have even compared ingame models to real life models, and alot of people couldn't tell them apart, or thought the GT5 models were real life, lol.

That's all from me... until I remember another game or two to talk about, haha.

OMG DOES UNCHARTED 2 HAVE MULTIPLAYER !! fucking great thats gonna be , no matter how you turn it, uncharted 1 was one of the best games ever made.. uncharted 2 is going to be truly amazing, the graphics are better then killzone 2 imho . only thing that can make it flop is if the story isn't good.. but if its the same team i have faith.. the twists that uncharted had (especially chapter 17) where totaly amzing and no, if you have insight, you wouldn't have seen that coming..

And yeah, If you preordered inFamous, you got a BETA code that lasted until the 28th June, you should check some of the multiplayer gameplay videos on YouTube lol.

And about the graphics, yeah they look pretty fucking intense, It'll be even more amazing if they DO beat Killzone 2's graphics, since they're just too good to be true in a game, yet they really ARE true, lol, I mean, I was blown away at the cutscene at the beginning, and thought "Naww, the ingame graphics can't be that good, surely..." yet I was so very very wrong !

Naughty Dog is an amazing company (Crash Bandicoot, JAK AND DAXTER!!...) KILLZONE 2 is a god of a game. Most teams are using KILLZONE 2's engine because it was so fantastic and unbelievably smooth with its unreal graphics. I played the demo of inFamous and I didn't really know why it sold so much. Probably because of the hype. It was a good game and all, but it was kind of mediocre tbh. But holy fucking shit about the intestines thing in God of War III!!! When I get that game, I probably would have a difficult time playing it because I would be throwing up every five seconds from its unrealness!

Lol inFamous is actually a really good game once you get into it and unlock all of the powers, lol, I never played the demo because my PS3 couldn't go online at the time to download it, so I preordered the game, lol. But yeah, once you progress through the story and unlock all the powers, it really is fun, and the way the karma system works is awesome too, except for the fact that if you kill one pedestrian, you need to heal/revive like 8 others to get your karma back up, which is why doing it as evil would be easier, but I like being the good guy (Although red lightning looks fucking immense, lol)

The huge benefit you have over being a good guy, is an almost limitless supply of power, since your main attack replenishes energy, plus, all the powers are just MUCH better varied. Evil is just plain destruction, no matter how you look at it.

And, yeah. PS3 IS kicking ass. It's always been kick ass, just nobody wanted to buy it cause of the price tag, plus nobody wanted to make games for it because it was a "harder platform to code for." Maybe they just need to ask Naughty Dog (Uncharted, and soon Uncharted 2), Geurilla Games (Killzone 2) and Sucker Punch (inFamous) how they did it, because they've made fucking epic games.

It might take another year or so, but people will soon begin to realize that 360 is just a waste of money. PS3 you get the whole package with that "big price tag." 360 doesn't even have built in wireless.. no free online.. no blu-ray (you might argue it's not necessary, but ask yourself this: if you really want FF13, you've been waiting all this time because it can't fit onto a 360 disk, so they've got to do some editing. Also, with the new Batman game, the PS3 gets a whole added story mode where you play as the Joker (this is assuming the game is even good, though. if it sucks, disregard.).) The 360 has no way of taking upgraded hard drives to whatever you want. PS3 can take any sized 2.5" hard drive and get virtually "unlimited" space. 360 has a primitive slide out disk tray that can break. PS3 can charge the controllers right out of the box, even while you play (albeit the cord is short, but there's no need to BUY extra shit). No need to buy batteries or have to swap to controller B to charge controller A..

Just give it time. Sony will become victorious.

Well me and Matty (psiclone, above me, lol.) have been working out the price of a PS3 compared to the 360, if you bought everything needed for the 360 to bring it up to the PS3's standards...

These are going by UK prices (Copy pasted straight from the MSN convo)

Well the way I see it
Over here, a PS3 is £300 ($600), yeah that seems alot to some people
But consider this
For a 360 to be the same as a PS3 you'd need;

You'd need a 360 - £180 ($360)
You'd need a wireless adapter - £40 ($80)
You'd need a bluray player - £250+ ($500+)**
You'd need XBOX Live - £40 a year ($80)***
You'd need a controller charger - £30 ($60)
You'd need batteries for controller - £XX ($XX)****

And that's just off the top of my head, let's see how much that comes to...
£540 ($1080) while the PS3 gets all that for £300 ($600)...

** For a half decent one.
*** That's only ONE year of XBOX Live.
**** This could be ANY amount.

So yeah, work that out for yourself, how long will people be buying XBOX Live for ? And how many batteries will they need to buy for their controllers ?

... Exactly.

And even if you didn't buy the Bluray player, that's £290 ($580), but then add onto that the battery prices, as well as all the years of XBOX Live you'd buy, and it still comes to more than the PS3...

The 360 is having a 6 year lifespan or something, right ? That's 2012ish when the new one comes out, 6 years of £40 is £240 ($480), so basically, add £200 onto that £290 (Taking £40 off from the first year), which bumps that up to £490 ($980)...

... I rest my case.
