Welcome to HBGames, a leading amateur game development forum and Discord server. All are welcome, and amongst our ranks you will find experts in their field from all aspects of video game design and development.
Yes, these items are free to use as you see fit, as long as you credit the HKCP team. If you wanted to submit that to the HKCP library, however, you'd have to credit the original creator, as well as yourself. (The original creator's name is in the filename).
Yes, that'd be fine, just, like I said, make sure you credit the original creator in the filename. And try to make the filenames like the ones I have there. There's actually a specific format to all the filenames (which will be posted on the gallery), but I'll always modify the names for first-timers.
***Note: You only need to register if you want to submit HKCP-related HK sprites.
You can do anything but upload files while unregistered. If you're not uploading sprites, don't register.***
YOU STILL HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE SAME PROCESS TO JOIN THE HKCP TEAM. See the first page.
Enjoy, everyone!
You should also notice the eHKCP and aHKCP have categories there. They're still under development, though. Check back soon for more!!!
I'm going to be sorta scarce all weekend, but if you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer them as I get the time to.
Hey Venetia is there a tutorial on resizes RTP style tilesets for HK use? :O because I like the kaizers but I also like most tilesets in RMXP (lol the kaisers have more detail :D) or is there any HK tilesets out somewhere?!?!?! :O (I tried googling but that didnt help =[)
Try searching THESE forums. There was a whole bunch converted and no there isn't any tuts on them. Just open up a graphics program and enlarge them. I usually just makes cuts and fill in the area in various spots. Besides they are probably trying to do Character graphics first and then I'm sure they'll move on to tilesets. Be patient.
ShowKaizer has become my co-Manager in the HKCP Gallery. He did create the templates, after all . Please continue to refer questions, comments, & concerns to me.
I added 2 new hair files: a balding look for the Adult-Male and the Male-Husky templates. Also now there are nice-looking thumbnails for the Albums! Whee
The eHKCP and aHKCP production is officially underway, starting today. If you're interested in participating (and you're not in the team yet), please contact me, along with some samples of your work. There won't be enough content to showcase for a little bit, but the foundations have been laid.
We're all still hard at work. You can show your support by using our little userbars (found on the 1st page), and visit the gallery often. If you have or find anything which uses nice-looking palettes or textures (low-color-count pixel art only), shoot them in my direction. We're palette-compiling for the eHKCP and aHKCP.
Please PM me your submissions. A good submission'll qualify you to be an HKCP Team Neophyte.
2 new branches of the HKCP team have been created:
~ The HKCP Team Sprite Contributor :: These members contribute usable sprites made with HKCP materials.
~ The HKCP Team Neophyte :: These members contribute recolors/edits of pre-existing HKCP materials.
So if you want to help, there are two new ways to join in!
I love this idea! Actually, I've had this topic bookmarked since the day I joined, but I didn't join to actually talk. However, I feel like making something for this project - after all, I love HK sprites! :D
Uhmm... Venetia, do you also welcome ala-Anime HK remakes and stuff? I planned of remaking my Clest sprites and even share some resources, especially my Hatsuya's jacket. Please click my Clest-Artal signature to proceed to Clest's Character & Mech Templates thread Page 2 onwards and you'll see some of my works using that template.
