Thanks for the update! At least it shows there is *some* hope for us huge Tales of... fans. I want a good reason to play ToD over again (I mean, the story wasnt that great. And after playing the newer Tales of games, its hard to go back to that stiffy battle system. But dont get me wrong, still a great game, but its hard to play again after being spoiled...) and from what i've seen of that battle system, I am set! More so, i want to play ToD2 and FINALLY find out what happend after ToD. Plus its battle system also looks nice... *keeps fingers crossed and preys*
(kind of like the hope that KH2:FM+ comes to America... i really want that CoM:RE that comes with it...)

Meh, don't worry bout KH2:FM. Nomura basically let the cat out when he said "I would love to let Americans hear the Japanese VAs, like what we did in Japan with the original FM.".
Also, I have run into my first complaint with ToD:R. The difficulty level flucuates ALOT. Sometimes it seems impossible, other times, it's like the PSX version was harder :s

I've only really played Eternia, and i must say, I found the dungeons confusing...it took me ages to find out i needed Dynamtie etc in the Earth cave on Celestia XD
Well, I found out the Tales of Phantasia Animation is out in english, and I plan to check it out, despite it being ToP.

Well, I've already seen it with subs, and it's not THAT bad....it's just confusing for anyone who has never played the game :p But I think that this is a good sign. It's showing that Namco DOES believe there is still a good market in the US, and it will presuade them to bring more Tales of games out here. Hell, we may even get the Tales of Phantasia remake for the PSP!
