Tell you the truth, I preferred the Meta Knight from the anime dub. That deep booming voice doesn't fit someone as cute as him.

I read somewhere, I can't remember where, but I read there will be a Brawl WiiWare Channel and a Mario Kart WiiWare Channel for online play and spectating, the article only said 'Online Play and Spectating', nothing about downloading characters, but this would be an excellent surprise for the world to see.

This was a huge rumor, largely helped by the partial character data that I posted, although Sakurai himself denied that there would be downloadable content. The Online play and Spectating isn't a WiiWare channel, it's a feature of the game itself and isn't related to any extra stuff.

I was at GDC last week (Game Developer's Conference), and happened to be up early enough for Masahiro Sakurai's Smash talk.  One thing I found really interesting was that they didn't use motion capture for any of their characters.  They used little 4 inch tall Mirco-man poseable action figures to illustrate combat animations.  He was a very funny speaker, he started off his speech singing like an old enka singer...

Oh yes, it's taking ages to get to Europe because they need to translate the game into every language for each country in the European Union and convert the game into PAL, then they need to get the licences and PEGI ratings for the game in each country  . It takes ages to get to Australia because they have weird game ratings and import stuff  :dead:
