no one else is excited about Pit? I'm watching my CAPTAIN N dvd's with Pit (who's called Kid Icarus and has a brooklyn accent... and he wears a diaper) and I'm getting pretty PUMPED! I guess he'll have limited flight like Kirby or Jigglypuff and he'll probably be a replacement for Kid Link or something. Hopefully he'll be a bit more original.

Have you not read any of the information about Pit?

He has a "Glide", where at the top of his jump you press jump again and his wings come out, slowly falling. You can arc your dive by tilting the control stick up and down, to fall faster and slower.

He also has a bow, which can be arced as it fires to volley shots and shoot down at opponents on platforms below.

His glaive weapon performs some pretty nasty combination attacks.

i still think there should be a DS control style.
I personally would be using the GameCube controller at first and then venturing out onto the wii remote when I'm ready.
Preferred control style: NGC Controller! Yeah!

"smart" in your eyes at least. Think about how wacky the development for games on Nintendo systems is, the weird optimization the first party games have to go through the look as decent as they do (instead of a joke like every other wii game). As a result of that, developing across platforms is a severe hassle, which would probably cost too much money to really rake in a good profit. Not to mention making it for PC would indirectly benefit microsoft, and who the hell makes fighting games for the PC?
