I finished Galaxy about a week ago, it owned so much.....

but I found the bowser battles to be alittle easy :

I could easily beat the ast one only losing 2 life.

But I really love what happens at the absolute end..... its so god damned awsome.

Finally got round to playing this the day. It's perfect. A real pick me up when you've had a dull or shitty day. The story is more than I'd expected from a Mario game, and the gameplay is stupendous. I'm loving the kick ass moves Mario has gained. Heck I even found some of this, slightly challenging, which makes it a pretty bad ass game considering that it preserved all the fun previous Mario titles have contained.

The trash part was a bit annoying...but I figured out a way to beat it. You know those yellow spots? (the ones that turn into coins when you fire a star bit at them) Try throwing the bombs right on those spots...Like put 2 on the left, then 2 in the middle then 2 on the right. Work fast and try to get the bombs perfectly on the spots or it won't get all the trash. The last two get them close enough on the spots, and at the same time try and make it so one explosion will set off the other bomb. (otherwise you'll run out of time before last bomb explodes) After I figured out how to do this, the trash games became a piece of cake.

Just beat the last Bowser today. Can't wait to get all 120 stars

man the three trial galaxies were easy as fuck and incredibly fun. the surfing one i beat on my first try and the others i beat only after a couple of tries.

i am of course having a hard time with luigi's coins but everything else is pretty smooth sailing moochachos. of course i recently got dbz tb3 and as lame as it is in a lot of places it has been occupying the very few non-work hours i have these days. i think i have like 4 or 5 more stars to go in galaxy.

Trust me, when you're having a party, DBZ takes the cake until Brawl comes out as the most played game....at least, in my opinion.

Wow, this game was awesome! Only problem was that the bosses to get the grand stars were a little easy. Bowser's just gettin easier to beat

On a side note, I just found out something REALLY cool about the game, so read only if you don't mind knowing slight spoilers.... It has nothing to do with plot, it's just what happens when you collect 120 stars:

After collecting 120 stars you get to play the entire game again as Luigi! This is a really good reason why I am trying incredibly hard to get em' all! Oh man.

Aw, no, I hate that guy. Now I'll never get around to getting 120 stars.

I thought I would hate it at first, because it was sending me cross-eyed for the first few levels. After my eyes adjusted, it was way, way better. Maybe you just need to let it grow on you?

I'm @ 74 stars now (post-boss), but my favorite galaxies are still Honeycomb Galaxy and Sweet-Sweet Galaxy. :D I had so much fun going through those ones.

Yea, the only one that gave me a hard time was the ball rolling one...the music that plays is fun to listen too though, lol. The bubble one I just took it slow and easy...and carefully...until I got to the last part with all the Bullet Bills. I don't know how but I panicked and blasted through that part and beat it...yeah...lol.

I loved what little of this game my tyrant little brother (who received it as an Eid present) let me play. It's fun, almost inexplicably so, just like Cave Story and Super Mario 64 before it. I was expecting something, well, more gimmicky. But it surpassed my expectations and only used the Wii remote's motion-sensing capabilities for the purposes of innovation, without any shameless insertion to remind people that it is indeed a Wii remote (much like they did with the DS' touch screen back in its infancy.) The remote's uses were nice and intuitive, felt natural, and if anything actually contributed to the game overall.

I do agree about the boss fights, though. I suppose Nintendo remembered how blamed hard it was to aim Bowser at one of those bombs back in 64 and decided to scale things back until they were simple enough for second-graders.

Beat the game with 120 stars with Luigi. You unlock a 'new' galaxy for both Mario and Luigi, allowing you to get 121 stars with both. When you finish the galaxy, a toad gives you a picture that's sent to the Wii Message Board (the picture is different for both characters). I got 121 stars about three weeks ago. There's nothing to do now on it EXCEPT GO MANTA SURFING!! lol

I was just playing this game, lol. I have like around 100 stars for Luigi, working on the Purple coins stars...I'm still having problems with the Cosmic Luigi races, they're a pain in the butt.
