Super Mario Galaxy

Heh, its very good. Has anyone completed it yet? I got it when it was released on friday, and I had completed it by the sunday morning. It was a bit too easy to be honest, some parts were challenging. Now I'm going back to complete some of the latter levels and get all 120 stars, I am finding it extremely difficult. A perfect balance! Great job nintendo.

..........I think I may need help on that Trial Galaxy or whatever thing. (the one that you unlock after collecting 3 green stars)

Yea, I've tried all 3, and they seem very difficult, lol.

Got it finally... on 56 stars at the moment.

I absolutely love the observatory music and how the arrangement gets more and more complex as you advance. It's such a nice detail that most people will probably overlook :(

The Spinning is pretty nice too - lots of new tricks to do with that around.

It looks pretty easy so far aye, but it's so great that I can hardly complain.

Oh and, saving Luigi for the first time was absolutely hilarious!

"Maaaariooo..."

:#

Heh, I beat the game with all 120 stars. The game was simply incredible.

The Music - 10 Seriously, the music was incredible. The Observatory Ship was breathtaking. It was a nice waltz tune. :)

The Graphics - 9 Very nice also. The game slowed down maybe once or twice, but other than that, damn. Very beautiful environments.

The Gameplay - 10 Also very nice! (not much to say =P)

Overall - 9.8

Basically, get the damn game. It's worth every penny.

...Have they said anything about a soundtrack for this game? The music in this game is awesome, it's one of the best I've heard in a while.
EDIT: And I'm skipping the 3 Trial Galaxies for now and taking care of all the other levels...does anyone have any tips on getting the star "Luigi and the Purple Coins"? You know, the purple comet at Toy Time Galaxy?

I get like about half done and I either fall into the poison swamp stuff or make a stupid mistake...(I hate being timed)

The soundtrack is indeed incredible. I just beat the game with 120 stars and well
Luigi is so funny man seriously.

As for that particular level, my best advice would be to not jump on the first green tiles right in front of you right when you start. Instead do a long jump into the nearest yellow tiles and just keep jumping. Don't stop for anything or you WILL fall. The star wuill appear right where you started so try to keep in mind that you'll need a path to get back to it. It took me a few tries and probably by sheer luck I got the star. Remember: Keep jumping! Long jumps really saved my ass a bunch of times.

SUPER MARIO GALAXY baby. Yeah.

lol it is great. and sorry about the spoiler :P

lol

anyone found any funny little game bugs :D

(lets put it this way i did the first sting ray race in 17 seconds :D)

there is one trick i found on junk galaxy where i did a obit long jump and span around the planet like 5 times and got launched to a star.

also i hear there is a trick where if you do a obit jump (basically long jump till you just spin around a planet) but on this trick you stop in mid air (cause of two gravity fields) and it gives your unlimited star bits

I wish there was an easier way to finish this Luigi's Purple Coins at the Toy Time Gaaxy...it seems almost impossible...lol

EDIT: For right now, I'm skipping this level and going to go through the 3 Trial Galaxies, so far I've finished the Bubble Blast one (to me that one was the easiest)...If you have any helpful tips/tricks/whatever that would help me complete the Toy Time star please tell me. Thanks.

EDIT 2: Just finished with the Ray Surfing trial, woohoo! All there is left is that ball rolling one, I've got very close to finishing that one but I keep falling off near the end. :(
Almost...there....only...2...stars....left...must....use....excessive...amounts....of....periods....

*bump*

Bumping this for this reason...
I'm working on the 2nd set of 120 stars and the Cosmic Comet races seem to be a lot harder than last time. Any tips on these things?

BellGoRiiiing just use a shit load of long jumps, and just maintain your cool. Don't go all wild and be like "FUCK THIS SHIT I KNOW I CAN BEAT YOU AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA". In the honeyhive galaxy race, though, there's a way you can beat him very easily. Look it up on youtube. ;)
