I just like the symbols thats all hehehe but i am a fan of Suikoden if you may ask hehehe... well you did figure out how the item system works out...

What do you think of the layouts?
which one suits best?
the layouts might change for some reason if it can be improve more in the future

the idea of this Layout thingy...
when the player is on the Equipment Screen
Pressing the "X" Button(Currently Letter 'A' on the KeyBoard)
will change the layout to the next one
and if exiting the scene
the current layout displayed will be saved as the default layout for the equipment screen... i already implemented that in the game ^^

to be true i didnt really made them...
i used them to represents the character appearance because im using them for this game... Those Character Models are from 'Chaos Legion' if you may ask... But Dennis Xennosford's Model is from 'Final Fantasy XIII VS' from Playstation 3 ^^ does someone have PS3 here so they can relate to what ive said? but actually im going to remodel them after i got my 3d Software program modeller... but im going to make 2ds graphics in-game... i hope i can also make a Movie Sequel with my own original model characters soon...
just for the intros and scenes of this game... i hope someone could help me with that ^^
 
ahaha yeah i was just browsing wikipidea and realised that your game is very similar to chaos legion :P
other than that i know its going to do well
i cant wait to play a demo or something
 
The visuals looks very impressive. The equippment screen is especially cool looking. I think you have to move the bottom most accessory slot or the R-Arm slot though, their equippment names almost fuses.

BTW, what is the L-Arm slot for?

hehehe dont worry buddy the Demo is Very Soon...
Its very near some quite about 2 weeks or so?
but the demo itself consist of the Start of the game, 3 SideQuests and
one Misssion(Main Objective)... Right now... Im cleaning some mess around the maps and graphics and also grammars ^^, because i think its better to release a neat demo than a buggy demo right?

Oh yeah the last accessory slot... the names are fused too.. i already noticed that... thanks for reminding me ^^ ill fix it ^^
and i think i should remove the Shield slot dont you think so?
L-Arm is for a Two-Handed Sword/or a character that can use two different swords e.g:Ezekiel can use two different Daggers one on the right and one on the left ^^
I think i will just place the shield slot on the same slot as L-Arm...?

Is their any program that will change the mp3 format to something what similar quality of sound but less size of bites... the size of sound files is larger than the project itself *laughs*...
can somebody give me the link to the program? Cause i dont want to upload a Very Large demo file,

I don't know, I only skimmed through the story, but it seems mildly cliche. I only got that from a skim though, so don't mind me. I really like the screenshots that I'm seeing though, and the general design of the characters seems like it would defeat the cliches that the story would bring up. I'd like to see a demo of this soon, etcetc. You know the drill. Haha.

The Story itself is really a Shame for me...
But its fixed now... i just need a little time to rewrite it down
The Story you red on the first post is the really first post and unupdated story... im not yet in the mood to update the story and to rewrite it myself ^^ but please be patient for the demo... dont worry im going to alarm everone who is interested for some updates for a Demo... if you would like im going to PM you if a demo will be released... ^^

Haha, I think you should do just that, cause' I'm genuinely interested in seeing where this goes.

which is better?

If both slotts cannot ever be occupied simultaneously, then I think merging them would look better.

thats the thing... the player can put the sword in the right or left hand...
well i think ill keep them up... ill just have to fix the accessories places...
 
Sorry for not responding to this thread for a long time...
i jst want to tell you guys that this project is not dead
it is still progressing
but sad to say right now the progress is very slow
im the only one working here

There is some major problems i afraid to report last month
for i dont want the people on the thread to look down on my project
that problems is...
The Script file of the game is corrupted
meaning i have to recollect all the scripts included in the game
what was the hard part is that i remade my Original script
which tooks me a thousand times to think how the hell did i made the Pastscripts which is corrupted...
but now the Script file is reviving from 0% to 70% wish that the Script file will be completed as it was before
im sorry to say that im having such stupid problems...
But dont worry its very near fixed...
The Demo that i was talking about that i thought i can release within a week
took me 100Years to do it... its because of the problem im having right now
i think the demo will be released after the Script File is completely Restored...
What was Damage most is the Battle System, Menu System and other Features Available in here... But Good to say that the Equipment System is Recovered and some of the Battle system features..
I'll Announce further information about the Script file and the demo in some other time
right now i am busy studyin... since this is my first time in college
(yup im a freshmen)
It would take a while for me to continue ^^
