Back day was fantastic.

I only did 14 sets for my back since I felt that "I'm going to vomit if I do another lift" feeling, however, 14 sets isn't too bad (even though I'd usually do 20 sets). Lower back aches, can barely lift my arms, feels good. Tomorrow is a rest day, so this thread won't be updated until Thursday.. be prepared to read a shit ton of whining, since Thursday is legs day, and I fucking hate doing legs.

This afternoon is leg day. I fucking hate doing legs, so walking home post-workout is definitely not happening. I'm thinking about cutting dairy out of my diet for various reasons, one being that I'm curious about how effective a dairy-free diet is during a cutting phase. God, I am not looking forward to going to the gym on Friday, since D.O.M.S. is going to kick my ass. My back and chest already hurt, add in legs after today and I will not be walking right. Upon typing the date out, I realized that I had missed my friend's birthday.. I feel horrible. He's coming over this weekend, so I'll suggest we go out somewhere as an apology for not wishing him a happy birthday; Hopefully the bastard won't take advantage of my kindness.

i was gonna write this whole thing about how you shouldn't cut dairy but i felt lazy so instead i found an article that says it better than i probably would have anyway:

Yeah, I decided not to cut milk out since it fit my macros well, plus I was looking at the diets of competition bodybuilders which is a big no-no since conditioning past sub 10% is a lot different that conditioning at 10%+. I will be replacing white potatoes with whole grain pasta, though.

I just ate a chocolate bar that had 550 calories, and another that had 610 calories... :thumb:

(But I can eat like a pig and I hardly put weight on... although in the last year or so I'm starting to put more on faster... I think my metabolism is slowing down)

This afternoon is back day. Last time I trained back, I put too much weight on the barbell for deadlifts (I was doing 2 plates at one point, now I can only do 1 x:), so this time I will have to swallow my pride and do as much as I can without breaking form. Back is my favourite day since it's my strongest body part, plus the pump received in your back makes you look like an animal. I was browsing my youtube history today, and I came across a video of my hair-do, only the title was changed to "Zyzz hair etc". The guy changed the title of the video from "Pop style faux hawk" to "Zyzz hair", which disgusts me since Zyzz is dead and this man is trying to garner views off of his name. I'd have no problems with it being called "Zyzz hair" if the video was actually intended to emulate his hair, however, it was originally intended to display a different style. Needless to say, I won't be subscribed to him anymore.

So the last time I weighed myself I was 10st 4 pounds... that was like a few months ago, just weighed myself now out of curiosity, and I'm 11st 8 pounds... dafuq?! I don't even look any heavier, except a tiny bit of pudge, although I can feel moobs coming, I seriously need to lose ATLEAST a stone! (14 pounds)

... What's the quickest way that doesn't involve going to the gym (Since I'm actually gonna' be very busy work wise for the next 2-3 weeks), although I can probably squeeze in half an hour to an hour a day on the treadmill...

Apparently my ideal weight is around 10st 5 pounds, so I'm definitely over it...

I'd start a proper diet or something but I hate most vegetables, I mean, I can drink tons of water, but only flavoured water or dilute such as Robinsons, and I like apples and mangos, but it's not quite often that we get fresh fruit in the house, and even rarer that we get mangos... I like grapes too but so does my mam and dad so they're always gone by the time I can get to them -.-", in terms of veg, I really only like carrots, peas, sweetcorn and potatoes, but potatoes aren't too great because of all the starch, right?
 
Pineapple and lemons are some of the best substances for your body. Drink pineapple juice or lemonade, ASSUMING they are just that. Most storebought brands of such have way too much sugar concentrates and whatnot. Grapes are okay, and mangoes aren't really THAT great for you, it's just better for you than meat and etcetera, particularly if your diet is varied.

Water doesn't particularly do *much* for you, but it DOES clear your body of toxins and whatnot (I think Ven touched on this?). If there are toxins and other stuff that could increase your weight, water would sorta help. Ingesting large amounts of water will actually inflate you, but iirc, it'd make losing that weight better. So exercise and whatnot + water helps a fair bit.

I'm 5'7 or 5'8 and around 142-145 lbs, meaning it's not as bad as it could be - close to a good BMI and whatnot. However, I do see/feel the pudge and I could use more muscles, so getting leaner is pretty much all I'dlike, probably around 135 lbs, which I'm aiming for by June 21 or so (days before my dorms/college). If nothing else it'd make me feel better around being in the beaches/pools and with my shirts/pants off.

But so I've actually been exercising a fair bit. Calisthenics, some stretching, jogging till sweat, and leg lifts. My diet's been... very much meh, the FitDay things says I'm burning more calories than I'm consuming, which doesn't really make sense since my diet's been pretty stable and I'm always hungry/eats lots, so I've been restricting myself to trying to eat more moderately + fruits. Drinking craptons of lemonade. I think I've lost 2 pounds, but imo that's just self delusion and variation in the weighing thing. The fact I've actually been exercising consistently is the only real change, which is funny how productive I get as school ends.

Well I've just gone and taken a nice poop and lost 2 pounds from it, I'm now down to 11st 6 pounds :thumb: (That's 160 lbs for you yankee peoples)

And actually I used to drink quite a bit of lemonade, but for the last month or two or so I've been going over to the shop almost every other day and buying tons of chocolate and stuff like fanta and coke and whatnot, and I've also started drinking again (Only been absolutely hammered 3 times though, but I'd say around 10-12 pints of Carling, Stella or Fosters (Lager) a weekend), I could easily give drinking up again, and I can stop myself going to the shop, that'll stop me from gaining so much weight I reckon (And save me a ton of cash!), but it won't help me lose it unless I do something myself...

I'm gonna' try something starting from Monday, you guys can help me with it lol, the reason I say Monday is because I'm going out to the cinema tomorrow and it's in a complex with TONS of fast food restaurants, so I'm not going to sit there hungry while everyone else pigs out! D: (Besides, Monday is the start of a new week)

since jbrist is british daxis presumably means lemon juice mixed with sugar not proper lemonade ;)

That is god awful lol, although have you tried the new Volvic stuff? They've got apple juice and cloudy lemon now, the apple juice is REALLY nice, not tried the cloudy lemon, but I bet it's all packed with a fuck ton of sugar... I might try it actually lol.

On my night shift last night, I drank 1.5 litres of orange and peach flavoured Volvic, it's REALLY nice!

Also if I can get myself down to like, 10st or something (140 lbs...) that'd be great since then I could build up a little muscle and not be all GADOOSH but look nice, I mean, if I put too much on, I'd be too big for my clothes and they'd rip and I'd need to buy bigger ones! (A lot of band shirts I wear are small (As in mens size small) and some are tight fit, such as the one I'm wearing now... I like tight fit tshirts) I'd probably like to add an extra 12-14lbs of muscle on top if I could get down to that weight, so I'd be back up at 11st (154lb) but look better...
 
Lol each day I drink like 2 cups worth of lemon/lime juice + water, either 1 or two lemons. Squeeze lemon, add maybe 1 spoon of sugar, and water. I used to have like 7 spoons like last year, five spoons in december, but this past week(s) I'm totally drinking nothing but lemon.

I think I actually like it more than sugary stuff. I remember the Arizona drinks, good, just so sugary, ha.
