Um it's not just Wyatt that thinks this? "No 4chan" has been an unwritten rule long before NFG was formed.

Also it's not a matter of "OUR SENSE OF HUMOUR IS SUPERIOR TO YOURS" it's that it's been posted in so many other places that no one wants to see it anymore. Generally they drag threads down into a lot of A B IS A spam and stuff like that, too, and we just don't want that.

It's not an unspoken rule. The thread was in NFG and 'No 4chan' is in the NFG rules.

The punishment is supposed to be being exiled, you got off lucky with just the lock.

It's safe to assume any image you find posted on the internet and think is pretty funny has been posted on 4chan, there's no need to check.

'Funny' is subjective. To make it objective enough to enforce rules we define it as 'what the mods think is funny'.

The 'nsfw images' rules for NFG are pretty strict and you broke a lot of them! This topic has clear warnings. 'This is gay' is not a clear warning.

Also because I'm a pedant your spoiler was actually labelled 'no, this is gay'.

this is actually exactly why 4chan memes aren't allowed. they spread from their source and you people don't even understand where they come from or why there ever funny to begin with. a lot of 4chan stuff would be incredibly funny if you people didn't spread it and totally take away all of its originality
