I had a conversation with Star about my body shape. All my fat goes into my torso (belly and boobs), so when I wear pants that *seem* like my size, they're too loose at the waist. Yet I can't wear a size smaller. My arms, wrist, legs, etc. are too skinny for "fat pants".

Like, what the bleep? So I wear sweats a lot, which annoys him. But they fit the best! So... There! :P

Reading the blog of an old rm user who thinks they are inhabited by several personalities, two of which are otherkin deer.

Part of me wants to say "yeah, OK, let people do what they want, it doesn't hurt anybody".

But part of me wants to scream. This Otherkin thing is just so... offensive. It's an extension of furry fandom and that's not an issue at all. It's when it blurs into medicine and real life and you can see, from what they're reading, that they are writing a story, a persona for themselves, but they are using terms and phrases that people with real issues have to deal with, and making people with real problems look like a joke.

But then no, if they think they are two deer amongst other things, why should that be a problem? It doesn't affect me.

I think my head is about to explode.

He thinks I look lazy or hobo-ish in them. It's not I put no effort into the rest of my ensemble, you know? Shower, brushed hair, clean face, brushed teeth, clean shirts, make-up, jewerly, etc.

You know how in Harry Potter, Lupin is described as looking more haggard nearly every time he makes an appearance? That's how I am right now. I look terrible; sunken eyes, bruises and cuts everywhere from work, tired posture. It's getting kind of depressing to look in the mirror, honestly.

It's weird, though, because I'm feeling better about myself and my life more and more recently. I'm moving into an apartment soon, I'm expecting a raise in the next few months, my relationships with friends are stable, and I seem to be losing some belly fat. Seeing life as good rather than just neutral is just refreshing, and I hope it stays this way.
