Words cannot express how much I hate this shit. I get that it's a joke but y'know... Advocating violence against children is never, ever okay, even if they are drinking under age. In fact especially if they are drinking under age. I think in stead of beating your child you should, I dunno, act like a real parent and offer them support maybe? See where they're getting the alcohol from? And find out why they are drinking? And maybe they wouldn't be drinking if you had be a responsible parent in the first place, and perhaps they would feel like they didn't need alcohol so much if their parents didn't beat them at all.
Allowing your child to have alcohol is irresponsible, not trying to help them understand why they shouldn't have and actively trying to work towards them not having alcohol it is neglect, beating your child for drinking is abuse.

16 is the legal age for drinking in lots of countries (for example, Germany) so IDK I think both the joke and some parts of your post are kinda silly.

I saw this posted by two british people. (I also live it britland)
This is our policy on drinking:
"For someone under 18 to drink alcohol in licensed premises, except where the child is 16 or 17 years old and accompanied by an adult. In this case it is legal for them to drink, but not buy, beer, wine and cider with a table meal." - Drink aware
So it's illegal for a child to drink, unless as part of a meal in licensed premises and they are accompanied by an adult.
It doesn't state that they are able to buy vodka either, which is the drink mentioned in the "joke."
I feel a child shouldn't drink under the age of 18. But they shouldn't be beaten for it. I also maintain that it's abhorrent to advocate the beating of a child, even as part of a joke.
Now this isn't to say I didn't drink under age, cause I did. Did my mother know? Yes. And she was somewhat irresponsible to allow me to continue to do so, and I was wholly irresponsible to do so. I did know parents that would buy their children alcohol and they were 100% irresponsible, however my mother did not ever buy me alcohol, which is somewhat responsible. Perhaps the only thing I feel I'd retract from my previous statement is:

Because, unless your child has an addiction to alcohol, there is really no need to be overbearing and try "support them" but something has to be done. If you tell your child not to do it, they will do it anyway because they're teenagers, and teenagers reject authority. If you allow them to do it, they are also likely to drink it, because teenagers also crave the approval of authority. It's a really hard situation, but I don't really have a solution.

URP, I ranted again. Sorry.

Jesus christ man, take a few dicks and find a sense of humor or something... it's a bloody joke! o.O
What's the difference between 10 dicks and a joke?

I can't take a joke.

I'm pretty sure "beat" in this context refers to corporeal punishment rather than child abuse.
I assume you meant corporal punishment? This is illegal anyway, so punishing an illegal offence with another illegal offence is very questionable anyway.
