Also I've been mega quiet on here over the last two weeks, that was my first post since April 27th, this is my second... I have my reasons, but you guys don't want to know, do you? :box:

Can't even remember, one minute I'm at work and I feel light headed and get pins and needles in my arms and hands (They went numb, as if I was armless...), the next minute I wake up up in an ambulance taking me to the hospital... turns out it was something to do with stress, to be fair my job is wank anyway so it was pretty much expected at some point, lol.

Thankfully I've applied for a new job, completely different to what I do now, and they've invited me to have a look around and see what I think on Monday, would be really nice if they gave me the job, since I could work less hours per week and be on a fuck ton more money... like, a LOT more money than I'm currently on, lol.

I've been kinda distant too. My Grandma was dying from brain cancer. In someways it was worst than when my grandpa died from it. He had complications after surgery, swelling, and it was kinda sudden but we had enough notice for the whole family - grandkids and all - to be there when he passed.
With my Grandma, She did everything except chemo. The radiation treatments ruined her tastebuds, so the last five months she didn't really eat much. She got progressively worst. We finally got the news "the signs were there" that she'd could be passing away within 24hr -- but she lingered for a week on nothing but water and pain medicine.

So anyways, her funeral was last Monday. And now I'm trying to get back in the swing of things. I've been so focused on this ordeal for weeks and now that it's over, it's difficult to let myself do stuff without anticipating some looming inevitable thing just around the corner.

Yeah but there's a lot more you can talk about when it comes to games and stuff, like I'm a HUGE Final Fantasy X fanboy, and the game is like 40+ hours long (Just for the story) so there's tons of content to talk about, from the music in each area, to the locations themselves, the characters you meet, the story itself, the side stories, the minigames, the lore, and that's just one game... with a pair of shoes surely you can only talk about the appearance and how comfy they are for so long before you get bored or something? Or until you talk about the price and realise you could have bought five games with the price of some of them, lol.

Not having a go or anything, just genuinely curious as to how you can spend so long talking about shoes, lol.

Yeah I'm feeling better now... I think, lol, and yeah I've been working here for six years now, soon to be seven. If I get this new job I'll be over the moon, I shit you not I could literally half the hours I work and still be on almost 3x what I'm on now, lol.

sneakers have stories themselves! For instance, the Air Jordan 1 Shattered Backboard was designed after a game Michael Jordan played in a 1985 exhibition match in italy. He was wearing a black and orange jersey when he dunked and broke the glass on the backboard.

aside from the stories.. we talk about the look, materials, pricepoint, how we feel about them, upcoming releases.. how we feel about those, if we'd buy. and it's a live podcast so people also ask us questions while we stream.

no harm done. I'm used to people not understanding my sneaker collecting.. but a hobby is a hobby. just like there's tons of groups/fourms/youtubers on making video games, collecting yugioh cards, collecting records, playing warhammer.. whatever. there's one for sneakers!
