Moving fully tomorrow. Packing the last things today. I'm excited but scared. First time I've lived without a parent but at the same time it's the first time I've had a place that's truly mine where I'm able to live as equals with the people I'm with.

After drawing that lewd picture of two characters of mine the other day (posted in the sketch thread), I've decided I had to figure out how to set off their relationship. They were always supposed to get together, but now I find myself writing out a random scene and running with it to see where it leads.

Granted, their story is not supposed to end up in a novel. It's supposed to end up in an indie RPG/Adventure game. SUPPOSED. And the writing is crappy. Like so much shit I want to give it up. Yet I need to figure it out. I wish I could do it in some other form. XD

I spent $850 on a customized computer. That put a DEEP hole in my wallet. What hurts even more is that when I told people my limit they kept calling it a low budget build

I think customize builds are usually around the $1000 range. So 850 is kinda on the low end. Like, for the same price you could get newest standard make and model.
I paid about that for my custom laptop in 2011. I've probably replace the battery once, and the power cable twice. I'm hoping I'd get a few more years out of it. But if the life expectancy of a laptop is 5-6 years, idk.

I keep thinking technology is going to plateau. And for environmental reasons, they'll do away with designed obsolescence and make things last a lifetime. Or at least, make things easier to repair than to replace.
