Except it's a portable. A portable PS4/XBone would cost more than $350.
There isn't a game library built yet. If they play their cards right, it could be a very accessible platform for game development and that library could grow and compete in the mobile games market.

In other news, some of the technology I'm sitting on has shot up in value once more. The whole reason I made this company was because the liability over technology at this value is a bit insane. I may be putting game development on hold for a bit and working on a way to license and sell this bullshit with greater ease. There's also some other projects in the pipe from other parties that means less time on game development, more time on making buckets of cash.

I've completed many things, but at the moment I'm finding a lot of business stuff is getting in the way of game development.

I'm pretty much running a freelancing and middleware company at the moment.

After today, I'm thinking of putting my game on hold, completing a piece of middleware to sell (super valuable), then going back to my game.

I currently have some Unity mobile stuff in the pipe, this middleware would be Unity mobile compatible, so it might be the right time to get that done, set it at the side to be a cash-cow and then go back to game development escapades.

It's going to be a nightmare to support this middleware and build a game. I already had plans to use this tech in my game (a feature that people said "oh gosh that's not going to be possible" is made possible).

There's other tech in my game that is rather valuable (the peer-to-peer detection/communication crap). I've thought about also packaging that up and selling it, but there's some iOS R&D required there.


EDIT: The more I think about it, the more I want to finish building my game. I actually think my game will be very unique and exciting for the mobile game market.

Whatever tech it is, I'd say go for that first. Once you've got steady income or income from something you don't have to dedicate as many hours on (depending on your level of support), go crazy with your project. And I'm saying that even though I'm dying to play your game as well. :pissed:

They did, because for what you were getting in terms of games to play, it wasn't really worth it. Sony made it near impossible for 3rd party developers to make anything for the system, and to this day, only one or two games take advantage of the full capabilities of it. I have only played one game that took advantage of the back touch screen, and a lot of times I forget it's even there. Again, there was only one game that I know of that took advantage of the gyroscope functions, and that ended up re-released with a sequel on the PS4. Only a few games I have you can use the front touch screen, and it's only an option, as the physical controls can do the same/similar things.

And then the PSTV came out, which was basically a Vita with a downgraded processor that you could hook up to your TV, and that was another $200-something on launch, AND it doesn't even support all the games.

Sony should have done to the Vita what Nintendo is doing with the Switch, instead of focusing on a gimmicky handheld to compete with the 3DS. If they had, they might have been able to save the system, instead of shoving it off as a legacy system two years after launch.

Yeah vita tv was cheap. But anyways the switch will flop. Only nintendo fans will get. There's nothing worth getting on it if already own a ps4 or xbone. Hell even you got a wiiu not even worth upgrading. And now you have to pay online? Yes you do get a free game each month but only playable that month

And a lot of dumb, sexist, thoughtless content too. I took issue to a news post that apparently women should be hugged more often because science has proven hugs are good for women. Does jack-shit for men, you can forget about hugging a bloke because women have special hug receptors in their skin that apparently men don't have.

Also, we should teach our sons to be gentlemen, and teach our daughters they should accept nothing less; but fuck let your daughters act like spoiled bitches and teach them no manners. If your son marries a woman like this, he fucking has to accept it; you have to put up with it son because we never teach our women how to behave because that's the boy's job.

Got a lot of sheeple in my feed too. I don't paste much on Facebook probably because I'm not a sucker for all this shallow content that everyone seems to suck the dick of. Also, the fucking Legend27 keeps kicking my ass before I can post anything good on Facebook.

I just don't have anyone to talk to right now and I've been staring at the same Facebook post for 45 minutes trying to figure out if I have a stance or if I'm judging the intelligence of one of my friends.

Actually, if you meet me IRL you'll find I tend to talk a lot about the bollocks people say (it's not a mid-life crisis). Sometimes people have great ideas - like a collectable card game about cats - but most of the time fuck wow people say a lot of shit.
