Post What's on Your Mind

The only news I heard this weekend was about a mother who was shot dead and her 6-month old baby missing. They recovered the baby in Texas, but never said who took it.
But with a name like Gonzales, you can make your own guesses.

This is the part where America pretends they don't know why it happened...

Edit: http://www.aol.com/article/news/2016/11 ... /21610304/
Is it because angry people are using a stereotype (based on the behaviour of a minority) to shape their opinion of the whole police force in the same way they believe they're being stereotyped (based on the behaviour of a minority), thus perpetuating a cycle of hatred that doesn't get us anywhere and will only end up making both sides more entrenched in their positions?

People are fucking morons.

I'm ranking diarrhea while away from home as the 2nd worst feeling in the world. 1st is nausea.
It's worst when you have anxiety and a tight schedule to keep. The horror when you're on the road and the nearest bathroom could be miles away. And the dread of being in a dirty bathroom stall with automatic flush, high water pressure in the toilets and sinks that spray everywhere. No toilet paper, or paper that's so thin you can see through it and you have to fold it up a dozen times.
Chances are it'll be winter. And there's nothing but screw holes where the coat hanger used to be, good luck with that.

Well now, this is a surprise. It seems it was a woman who had faked her own pregnancy that did it. Or at least stole the baby.
Like something out of a soap opera. Unreal.

I agree 100%.

Diarrhea feels like a sharp stomach pain that never ends when you're trying to hold it. I can't imagine making a long business speech, or being stuck in traffic. Nightmare.

Nausea is pretty bad too, but I know methods to defeat it. Sprite soda, burping, etc. I usually end up doing a big nasty burp, curing it. I absolutely hate vomiting. Once upon a time I got sick from a tick. Threw up 18 times a day for 1 whole week. Enough puking for a lifetime. NEVER AGAIN!

The day I moved to my college apartment I got sick. A combination of nerves and car sickness I think. There was nothing pleasant about it. The place smelled. Sickening florescent lighting with a flicker. The couch was broken. Police sirens in the distance. Cold and Raining. I remember blankly staring across the living room at my roommate's poster on the wall that was this "Body Worlds".

I hadn't met my roommates yet.

I tried to tell myself things weren't as bad as they seemed. I was just sick and miserable. This "gut" feeling would go away.
No. My year there was awful and I just spent the last hour ruminating over it

Happy days. Happy happy. I'm in a good mood.
No drama = Nothing exciting going on. Less posting. Nothing to debate or argue over.

I'm looking for some interesting people... I might join a few comic book forums. I love versus debates. Superman vs Goku and stuff like that. Star wars vs star trek. Nerd stuff.

Lots of data and statistics really turns me on... Mmmm, charts, blueprints, and technical read outs... Oh, yeah. Mmmmm...

Another cop was obliterated today.
Wow, America. I didn't see that coming :dog:

My people are finally waking up. We tried peace, nothing changed. So Plan B...

Those are fighting words. Americans love their guns. No matter how many kids die, mass shootings occur, and school shootings.

"Omg let's just buy more guns."
"Gun problem? Get more guns."

This is why i just turn off the TV when I hear about shootings here. Americans are too stupid to fix the gun problem. So they choose to do nothing as the situation gets worse. It's been going on for 20 years.

The only option is to shoot and kill 1 member of every American family in existence, especially the law makers. Everyone will experience the same loss, and a solution will happen almost instantly.

I know it's psychotic, but until every American experience the same situation, nothing will be done about the gun problem here. There's a lack of empathy in America. Sickening.

Wasn't the original reasoning behind the second amendment to be able to create an effective militia if the US is invaded or if the people want to rise up against the powers in government? With arms being swords and black powder muskets & pistols?

Maybe if there weren't as many guns in America there wouldn't be as many people getting shot? Just a thought...

That might be so, but getting getting rid of firearms in the USA just isn't feasible. There is a huge black market for weapons in the states; we have a huge southern border from which illegal guns are smuggled in, among other ways. It's no simple task to secure such a broad swath of land, and even what can be secured is often bypassed by the cartels in Mexico. If you're a criminal in the States and you're semi-competent, you can get a hold of an automatic rifle easily.

If I remember correctly most shootings happen with hand guns and are usually normal people, not terrorists or cartel. Yes if you want to get a machine gun you can find one on the black market. Nor only that, most people who get ahold of these automatic rifles and go on shooting sprees usually have mental disabilities and get them from someone they know. (Like a family member).

I don't understand why any American citizen would need the power to kill a bunch of people at once but apparently a lot of people disagree with me

NRA people would say, "rights don't change just because technology does", which is obviously bullshit.
