I've spent all weekend learning JS and trying to write my first RMMV plugin, but debugging is kind of uncomfortable with writing your code somewhere and checking the console log elsewhere.

I was obsessing over why my total frames was 81 instead of 9. Then it hit me: 8 + 1 = 9. Turns out I was using 8 as a string instead of a number. Lua and Ruby have ruined me.

I've spent all weekend learning JS and trying to write my first RMMV plugin, but debugging is kind of uncomfortable with writing your code somewhere and checking the console log elsewhere.

Hit one of the F# keys (F8? F9? Not sure) and you get the WebKit console and you can set debug break points and inspect object structures

...UFC 199 was epic. I think I'll stick to MMA style sports. I'm officially giving up and ignoring all sports with balls In them. Less rigging and corrupted referees (like in the NBA).

Also Battlebots is a sport too I hear. Robot fighting time. It's like the Brit's Robot wars, but 1000 times better. You Brits like flipping and wedge bots too much. So boring. Americans prefer highly destructive robots. Much better for ratings, therefore the show won't get cancelled...

Battlebots was awesome, we'll see how they do again. I always enjoyed the more low profile robots that stabbed or flipped. There is one that looks like a roombah for sure.

That bot is epic. Razer and hypno disc are Robot wars big hitters. Dead metal is my favorite house Robot.

Also to all you non Americans, you can view ABC's Battlebots on YouTube. They show the entire episode, but it's best to view just the fights. Way too much talking happens. New season starts Thursday of this week. Flamethrowers and drones are legal. They added flying drones with flamethrowers!

Yeah It's annoying sometimes, but fighters must have a good ground game or it's over. UFC 199 was pure knockouts by striking. Almost no ground action. That's very rare for a UFC/MMA event. Lovely when it happens.
