Oddly I didn't know a Pulsar was a type of neutron star. This news is perfect. In my story there's a dude (Lance) who's half Pulsar. He married a woman (Roxanne) who's half neutron star. Those hybrids are 100% compatible. I love when things add up by mistake. Ha, this means their daughter (Amoray) must be part neutron star. Aww, but I wanted her to be half Moray eel. Her name matches it... Well I am the creator, so she stays Moray eel. I just gotta create a half assed story on why she's an eel. Should be fun.

Oh, don't worry. I know neutron star mass is extremely heavy. Those characters keep their neutron star side of things at 0.000000000000000000001%. They wouldn't want to implode any planets by accident, or fall through. Weighing 10 octillion megatons is no joke!

Application for college got rejected cause I didn't put two grades in it (I accidentally sent it off) and then I called them to tell them that I do have the grades and they're all "Yeah, those aren't the right grades"
I did functional skills Maths and English level 2 which is supposed to be GCSE grade C equivalent, but according to college, they're not equivalent so fuck it. Now's a good a time as any:

Yeah. Uk College. I was applying for an "access to higher education" degree in computing at City College in Brighton, in the hopes of going on to study Game Design at Brighton Uni. I mean. I am fine to do GCSEs again. I am fine to do that. But what is the point of having these other qualifications that are literally designed to be equivalents, if they don't actually work as equivalents?

No don't do this. You'll give yourself a massive debt and have no employable skills. Really, really don't do this.

EDIT: Also, universities will deny you a place based on grades because they don't want a student who will fail and give them a bad name. If you have a portfolio and beg at their feet then you can probably strike a deal and get a place - I mean, you're giving them lots of money so their only risk is getting bad rep from a failing student.

Well the course I'm doing isn't a uni course, it's an access course at the college and I do have the qualifications for the course but not in the right format. It's like when an rpg tells you to get a certain item from a certain monster, and you already have the items, but they still want you to kill the monster.
Either way, I'm going to go to uni here, or Birmingham. But one is a longer shot than the other.

College level game design is fine as it gives you an idea of where to invest your time and money - and more importantly if you want to.

Unofficially, it seems as though I'm the candidate in the 8th position for Pathology residency. This sucks since there are only 4 available positions. It doesn't mean I'm out of the game, but I'm super depressed. Apparently, I did great in the written part and horrible in the practical part. I'm really starting to hate my life.

I did a bit more progress lately. Debugged the new enemy AI I made, which is based off of the Buzzblob. No electrocuting yet, though. I'm not sure what else. I already implemented mapchanging and a newer hearts system, but this dynamic lighting system is kind of buggy. It doesn't play nice with part of my HUD. I have a solution but it means switching to a text object.

In other news, I had homemade fried chicken tonight. Yum.
