Fangking: if the scripts for battling and such are not available for distribution, that would make development of the G/S/C remakes more difficult in general. If possible, could a limited release be made available to those involved in developing those remakes? (I know I'd prefer to use the same scripts anyway, if "Acanthite 2" is supposed to share some critical plot elements with the new G/S/Cs)

If I am one of the developers on the game, you get the stuff. As I am indeed developing GSC remakes, those games will get the systems.

J.D. Slasha's question - this game takes place only in the region of Merto - Kanto and Johto are not in this game. Ash/Red is based pretty much specifically in Kanto or Mt Silver from GSC and as such will not appear in Acanthite.

The as yet unnamed "Acanthite 2" WILL have Ash/Red in it, as the game will be based on GSC and happens at exactly the same time and place as GSC did. Basically, it's the same game, but played from someone else's viewpoint allowing me to be a bit more flexible with the storyline.

Fangking: I believe you and I already discussed this via MSN; The remakes and "Acanthite 2" were going to be done side-by-side anyway, to provide better plot integration. (Yeah, my MSN's doc_madrox@hotmail.com, in case you wanted clarification)

General statement: Mezereon City's final version is quite impressive. I'm impressed with the design, and the City Hall just accentuates it even more. Also, I love the sprites for Striktoil -> Viperno -> Cobroast. Worthy of an official game, I'd say. Kudos to KangasKid!

And while we're on the subject of sprites, when are we going to see sprites for the Virus-types? I'm dying to see how Missingno and Mistrync are supposed to look!

We'll see them when they're made :P

More concerned about demo material first. There are no virus types that appear before the demo's cutoff point. And yeah, I know who you are, I'm not that slack :P

one of my freinds(who doesnt have RPGMaker XP) saw this and fell in love with it... (he loves pokemon games)... and he asked that if yyou get done with making this if you could make it in a way that you dont need RPGMaker XP?

Good luck with that! You'd need a heavy understanding of C/C++, Visual Basic or some other high-level language!

If you're talking about running it, then it won't require anything beyond the RGSS runtime library.

I've noticed a slight error in your Pokémon list. Why is Sandslash in front of Sandshrew? Isn't it meant to be the other way?

Thank you and thank you :P

Old screenshot - very old now really - that dialogue no longer occurs. I probably made the mistake thinking of Team Rocket as a plural entity.

I'll fix that error on the list.

Wow, this game looks like it has a ton of work put into it. Most advanced pokemon game I have seen made with rmxp. Keep up the good work :)

Wow I remeber being asked to sprite for this game back when I sucked. XDD I did the pilots for Rabbair and I couldn't stop spriting him for the following month. XD I could finish where I left off on the Rabbair chain if you'd like. :P

I don't really like Squink. My little brother always picks water Pokemon, so he's not playing Acanthite because he hates how he and his evos look. Me on the other hand, I always take fire types, Striktoil and he evos are excellent.

Well, that was a pointless piece of nonsense.

this game is coming along very well fangking, your pokemon designs are excellent and from what you gave away with the story, it will offer more then any normal pokemon game could, i eagerly wait for its completion :D.
