Add a flying like Pidgeot or Swellow and a ground/rock such as Rhydon (who can learn surf, and any of the elemental punches) or...well, whoever...

Come to think of it, I once had a Rhydon with Special moves and it was actually really good. I taught it Thunderpunch and Surf. He (I think it was a he) was really strong...

Anyways...well, no purpose to this actually.

Fearow>Pidgeot>Swellow But my personal favourite flying type would be Dodrio, Drill peck, Tri Attack, better attack growths. But if you wish to use the fly move, go with fearow.
And Rhydon will suffer from a lot of weaknesses, besides, he's also hell to train. If you're going for a ground type, rather go with Groundon. Thunderpunch should be covered by electric pokémon or Alakazam for example (wonder if Grumpig can learn Thunderpunch/Thunderbolt...). Thunderpunch is a special attack, now look At Rydon's stats. And for Surf goes the same, he has lapras, so in combination with Ice beam and rest... Well, dunno really if Lapras knows sleep talk.
Anyway, about Diamond and Pearl. I'm rather sceptical about the new pokémon (in looks). Kanto>Johto>Hoenn> diamond/pearl? I hope not.

i think Grumpig can learn thunderpunch and Thuderbolt. All I know is that i teach him, Pyhic, Calm Mind, Confuse Ray(can never find a good 4th move)

Electabuzz evo?

I like the Dark/Psychic/Fighting triangle. The problem, though, is that psychic isn't simply weak against dark, it can't even hit dark. Because of that, the triangle is flawed. I bet it will still be the traditional Fire/Grass/Water.

Also, I really hope they don't change the special and physical attacks. It's a lot better the way they are now- and really helps balance the game.

Rucario (or it might Lucario; hard to tell by just katakana)...it's supposed to be a squirrel type pokemon or something. I reckon it's another Zigzagoon/rattata pokemon...just a guess though.

I've been following the information on Diamond and Pearl ever since they were announced. I can't wait until they are released... which sadly probably won't be for a while. Still, they look awesome, even though I think the battle graphics could have been done better.

For those of you who want to follow Pearl/Diamond but dont have a site to go to, I found that http://www.pokemonelite2000.com is pretty good. Its even got sprites for RPG games! (but give credit). I will have to check out this serebii site, sounds similar.

Tsk, those designs get worse every sequel... The kangaroo is decent enough, but a fucking dinosaur for a psychic type?
As the psychic-Dark issue will be a problem, Fight-Rock-Flying could be a triangle too. Though I dunno if Flying is a good type for starters.

Before anyone else believes that these aren't fakes, I know who did this. Look up PurpleKeckleon of DeviantArt. The shading was a dead giveaway. Sugimori never overdoes the highlights like Purple does. Also, he tends to use soft shading quite sparingly...
