Just a study. The troubling thing about cavalier is that spheres become ellipsoids if you try to show both the front and Top like you would a cube. If you split a cavalier sphere in half it would just be a circle, you can't see the bottom half like you would in cabinet. - without making it an ellipsoid.
Edit: I cut the spheres horizontally. So with Cabinet I can distort the top into an ellipse, But in military it would be a full circle. If I cut it vertically, Cabinet and Military would switch. Military distorts the vertical lines and would have an elliptical face while Cabinet would be a circle.
The ellipsoid thing with cavalier become apparent when you try to divide the sphere without distorting the faces into ellipses. You should have a circular face that touches the pole. It would look roughly like this, sliced horizontally.
But that kinda makes sense when you see how the 3d models are actually slanted to achieve that same proportions.
