Pencil Art Contest [Results Posted]

Just a reminder. There is two weeks left before the contest closes. So anyone who wants to enter still has time. I understand a lot of people are finishing up school for the summer.

Btw, I'm still looking for judges. I'd like at least one other person besides my self to judge, 2 would be better. You can't enter the contest if you want to judge, and you have to be available the during the last week of may.

I can volunteer as judge if you want.

I've only received 4 entries so far, but I'm expecting a few more people will make it before the deadline.
4 feels like a small number, but there was that one pencil art contest that had only 1 entry. The last contest had 8 entries. If theres at least 6 people who make it then it'll feel like it was worth the effort.

I'm working on mine, I've had 2 attempts already, but I crumpled them both x.x I'll keep thinking, lol, I've never really done much scene work so this is a bit of a challenge :P

What do you mean by element?
Like Air, Earth, Fire and Water or can we use Plutonium or Lead (You know, Periodic table and stuff...)?
I know it may sound a stupid question (and it probably is) but don't blame me, I don't how long it can be stretched...

Sure you can use actual elements but it better be obvious what the element is. Something like "the element is the copper buttons on this guy's outfit" is NOT acceptable.
A scene in a mining tunnel would work if you can see what it is they are mining; like gold or something.

hell I had almost forgotten about this, anyway, you didn´t reply my earlier question coyote :P

Even if just in future contests, won´t color pencils be allowed? they are still more pencils than pen are, so far it is more of a greyscale contest XD But entering anyway for this, just sad with color pencils out though u.u

I don't think I'll start another pencil art contest. (I know, thats what I said last time). I might make a art contest that has free range on your choice of tools. Use whatever you like: photoshop, pencils, glue...I could be funner that way.

Oh and just a couple days left till the contest ends. Anyone who wants to enter better hurry!

Alrighty, contest is closed. I'll have the results posted soon, possibly today. There are only two judges this time, zeldrak and myself. Hopefully with only two judges there won't be any ties for first and second place.

My favourites are Sakura Pheonix and that great rendition of the best character of all time, Koen by Clest.
