i'd prefer if you sent me the schematic for the single pieces. i'm going to be using a different seed than the one your forest is on so land masses are way harder to match up, the bigger the land mass is.
anyway to make a schematic,
download MCEdit:
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/138 ... -beta-173/
load the world in the editor,
navigate to the thing you wanna export,
use the selection cursor to highlight the block(s) you want to export (this can be super frustrating at times),
then hit the export to file button.
save it & send to me
i prefer if you:
crop the schematic as much as possible (leave VERY little extra air, water, land, etc.),
(actually if there is no regular ground AT ALL it is preferred, barring building floors)
avoid exporting anything that is SUPER RIDICULOUSLY TALL.
(sea level is approx. 64 blocks up from bedrock and the ceiling is 64 blocks up from sea level. if you build something inland, there is a chance that you're building BELOW sea level, and if it's so tall that clouds pass through it, there is a good chance that it will not be very easy to place as a schematic on a different map, b/c it'll always look like it's clipping into the ground as it hits the ceiling.)
if you export a single room, export ONLY the room and its walls, with NO air surrounding the walls' exteriors ... i have to be able to import air to make single rooms work.
also if anyone finds/makes some nice pine trees, can you export them and send them to me? regular-sized ones, I mean. they are always hard for me to find b/c i can only ever find them growing out of mountains and i need them not to have any ground attached to them ...
