Missing what? But I think you will change your opinion when you get a chance to play the actual game. You can't really judge characters just from a project thread.

Synchromesh that looks pretty cool, you just mixed up the words a little bit :P

On one of the first screens presented, it's a beach camp am I right? Why does the grass autotile you used have those brick borders? If you are trying to make it look more natural, use the autotile that connects with the sand, if you know what i mean.

Yeah I was planning on trying that.

There is room for details, add a little more vegetation with your nature maps so that it doesn't look so bare.

Re-looking at my maps I dont really think they look too bare O_o

I probably wont update or work on this for a few days because I've been as sick as a dog and I'm headin away for the weekend..

Just to show you anything with the font is not my fault, it is supposed to look that way. It is a script font, very fancy one that is similar to that of things used in the 50's. More or less it reminds me of the old Coca Cola Classic font. If someone knows what the name of the title of the game is. Why does being able to read it such a problem, it isn't like he is using this font in the entire game. Title screens are supposed to look pretty, unique, and appealing to the eye. The last thing I'd be concerned about, is being able to read the text, I would want to get into the game after seeing a great titlescreen. I'm not going to change the font, since I based the entire titlescreen around it, finding a good looking, heavenly font without it looking absolutely stupid with cherubs or something corny like that is impossible. So I stuck with this and I don't honestly feel like finding a new one for another half hour just to please a few people. Let the game maker decide what he wants.

That is a very arrogant statement, and very judgmental. Just because you replied doesn't mean others have viewed the page just to see. Some actions speak louder than words. Just remember that... (I feel like a guru, or better yet, Lokii lol)

I'm just saying, you all aren't the only ones who read topics, you don't have to reply to any of them, I hardly reply to 75% if any that I see, so them just viewing means they don't want to express their opinion.

On a different note, I wonder where Anglachel is. He hasn't been on in a while.
 
Axerax I think it looks great. I like the look of the font a lot, althoug it is a shame it's a tad hard to read.

In the actual I doubt I would want the characters faces. Just not what I'm looking for, you know? Besides the ones you used aren't the final ones I'll be using, thanks to the wonderfull Hima :D And they look a little square.

Still, I think it looks pretty darn good :P
 
How did I miss this project? It looks brilliant in it's simplicity! And the title made me cry with excitement.
The screen shots look perfect, that window skin fits the setting, the multiple stories sound brilliant, the character graphics are great. I just really want to play this ASAP.
I hope the battle system is "Fast and intense", that would be a good change from the slow paced mind crushing battle systems that have been surfacing nowadays.
Good luck with this! From what I've read it has the potential to be a 10/10 game.
 
If you would rather have a blank one, with just the feathers falling, I can arrange that in a jiffy, i'll just have to do it after work though.

Glad you like it, shall be done later. I also gotta say, even though the font is hard to read, I did about all I can to make more readable by using the strokes, glows, and inner glows to make it stand out and readable.
 
This game grabbed me from the second I saw your signature. The first village screen looks really neat, too- good job!

I'll be eagerly awaiting this release.
