That's not unlike them, also if your looking for a good social time, Degica's corporation forums aren't really the place.Nathaniel3W":k3rbsst6 said:I actually just signed up at Degica's forums the other day. I think I've gotten my name on the mods' blacklist. In my first post I mentioned wanting to make a tactical RPG and moving on to another engine. My post got "moderated," and a mod made a comment saying that only games that use Degica's engines are allowed to be discussed there. I guess that makes sense. I wouldn't want to make my own forum and then let my competitors advertise there. Anyway, now I think the mods are going to be very suspicious of any help that I ask for there.
If you mention my name (especially in a positive light) it'll if not get your insta-banned, put a big red cross on you.
I'm like the Monkey who must not be named, their level of absurdity is hilarious.
On RMN, I personally am not a fan of how their marketing system works, and the longer you have an account, the more likelyu it is your games will be noticed, even if they aren't very good. Due to how the 'popular games' is based more on overall view count than recent fluctuations, staying active enough to be noticed for more than a day is pretty obnoxious, and there's a shit ton of annoying pessimists and people there-- it's been going down the toilet recently too, a lot of the big names have left, and most of the annoying sensitive little saltlickers remain. I enjoyed my time while I was there, but I'm glad I'm gone as it is now.
