Alright Gentlemen,
I've finally gotten around to downloading and playing the fourth arc which I finished today.
I particularly enjoyed the music in the credits. Actually, the music was well done again.
As for the dungeons, the two dungeon per arc formula suits MotW very well. Both dungeons were well designed, though the second one could have been a bit longer. Maybe it is because I played through the entire arc without stopping that it felt short.
As a general comment, I greatly enjoyed this arc. The character development was intriguing, but at times it felt that too much was thrown out at once without any preview into it. Certain characters had certain aspects of their personality brought into question while their past was brought up, but there wasn't enough time to make me feel truly empathetic.
In general, all of the tie in was fantastically done. I can foresee several events and paths slowly linking and about to come to a head-to-head collision.
One thing that the third arc had a bit more of that the fourth could have done with is a bit more story on Solest. I feel like I've started to gain a good grasp of the background of Solest and the characters that shaped history, but much of it still remains to be on the table. Which is good in a way because that leaves plenty of room for Arc V to show us how things lined up.
Sorry for the vagueness in my comments, I didn't want to be too specific for spoiler reasons and because I don't think there is any reason to get too wound up in the details.
Great overall execution and fantastic job. Once the seventh arc is completed I plan on playing through over again and then distributing amongst my friends, if that is alright with you.
Also, I never watched Arc IIIs secret ending. It made me shed a few tears. Arc IVs ending was also very well done.
Thanks for the play. Rock on gentlemen. Rock on.
