Master of the Wind

Master of the Wind (Complete!)

Mimic,

Try taking out the skeletons & using tranq darts. They respawn, but one at a time. Healing minstral is probably your best friend for this battle.

The great:

- Solik's lab. All of it instead of picking something specific, and it's a good way to stump people into making more posts in here.
- The jump rope puzzle was fun to figure out too.
- Bubba's a playable character now, wth? The scenes & dialogue with him were pretty good though.
- All of the animated event cutscenes were great as usual.
- I liked the mind reading thing. Very interesting way of getting more dialogue about the villagers & do their shopping.
- Fairy quest was really cute.

Mixed:

- Battles seemed to rely on luck more than usual. The illusionist, vampire, falstaff & Solik were pretty damn hard if my disables didn't kick in or they got lucky. Illusionist especially with Dican able to 1 hit people on a crit and Torin stunning everyone. I guess fights would've been easier if I had Laurel's group heal I saw in another post though. :)
- The early Gabriella & Rana scenes were just "good". In any other game they'd be great, but I know you could've done much more with the dialogue and made them amazing.
- The Sparrow identity Q. "Who is the sparrow?" "Your brother, but he's been dead a few years". I expected they'd have to do some investigative work or something instead of just having a NPC say who. The hand member's reference to a certain someone was interesting.

Random:

- Darkwing duck was one of my favorite shows.
- I hate TSB. That took me a few tries.
- Walking all the way through the graveyard just to be told there's nothing there sucked. :)

All in all, another great installment of MotW that left me wanting more. You guys are going to be getting a nice donation next time I have money sitting around in my paypal account.

Some qs:

- Was there anything special said if you defeated Andau before Gabby? Didn't feel like retrying that fight after it took me a few tries to finish the first time.
- Are we going to see the Touten Corps again in the future?
- Is there something special about Stoic that made Solik unable to control him like he did the other skeletons?

Thanks for the feedback sandgolem. It's always good to hear from you. I posted the answers to your questions below.

If you defeated Andau before Gabe then she basically gives up and the fight ends. I figure most people will end up going for Gabe first though since she poses more of a threat with her status moves.

The Touten Corps will return but you probably won't be seeing much of them in the next arc.

Stoic is a special case. No necromancer can control him now.

Oh, and there is an item in the graveyard for those with a keen eye.

I'm stuck, I'm just not sure what to do next.
So far:
I'm in the town with the mind reading, and I did the fairy part and then still struggling to find that man in the town I eventually realised I could give food to that guy, went and saw his family and now I'm stuck. I have a feeling I have to move the table in the armour shop being as there is a hatch underneath and a few people have mentioned the table. Also the skeleton and a fairy mentioned dosiers which didn't seem to lead anywhere being as I couldn't find any fairy to ask about them.

Try mind reading Cassie(The owner of the Armor shop)

What exactly are you talking about? The bit where Marin tells them the original Sparrow was Evander Till? Or the part where Baron asks "Kovak" that question? Unless someone pranked me and changed the dialogue there, Danika had no clue and gave herself away.

I don't think Marin's information takes away from the mystery at all...in fact, it complicates it because now there's an additional suspect. Did Evander survive the collapse of his home...or was he resurrected as a skeleton? Or is it just someone else taking over the identity? And if it is someone else, what is the connection to Evander? Then again, I'm not positive I understand exactly what you're saying here. The Hand member (Voyd) referenced Rayne, but this wasn't in connection to Sparrow...and Marin said nothing about Rayne except that he vanished, which is the story everyone knows anyway.

I've noticed that the evasion gear has been toned down. Good call, having 60 evasion on Scroud which I had at the end of chapter 3 did seem to good. Anyway, I haven't finished arc IV yet, but so far it looks great.
The fairy sidequest was hillarious, especially the "free hugs" at the end.

Holy hell, Danika is tough. First boss I've had problems with so far. I guess I need to level until I get Laurel's multi-heal spell before I continue.

So far, so good. Good job, guys.

EDIT:
*sigh* I have to start the game over. My only save file is right before the Danika fight, and I can't exit the room to level up.

Man i love the golems =] but unfortunately im stuck. I have got the phantom sword, both recipes for the golem and made them, but i dont know where to go from here =[

EDIT: got it =]
EDIT2: no im still stuck i got the golem into that long room with the switch door but now i am absolutely clueless. Managed to knock the ball down... but cant get it off the platform...
EDIT3: i got the house key...
EDIT4: woohoo got it!

ArtBane, just loaded up an old save to secret item find. Keen eye for sure, it's well hidden!

Volrath,
I couldn't remember the name and stuck the biggest cliched answer from the topic in there to confuse spoiler readers. Sorry it got you too. :) But I suppose you're right, more people & things to guess about is fun. Nice to see it isn't Emma though, that would've been a lousy secret identity!

You guys might want to try a little contest about who he is after the thread's attention dies down. Maybe offer some kind of ingame references as a prize for guessing right, without telling them they won until they find out for themselves.
Starwinder, you don't need to start over. I did it without that but it took a few tries:

Auburn's Crowd Control & Finley's Tranq Dart can put someone out of commission for awhile. The fight is much easier if you land that stuff on Dican and Torin. Torin especially because the stuns can get you killed at a bad time. Concentrate on the gal in the middle unless something happens and you'll win eventually.

Laurel gets her skill @ 24 if you have a cookie and that's one of the last chances you'll have to use it this arc.

H'oh shit. What does he house key do? Which house does it unlock, cause I found it and I dunno what to do with it. Does it unlock a house in Rellenia, cause Im past there already.

63 times I've tried that Danika fight. I quit.

You should check out the strategy sandgolem posted earlier. It makes that fight much easier.

That is a real straightforward fight. Just focus on one of them since once one of them drops the fight is over. Use Shroud to keep them both healed and attack when you have a chance and always have Stoic on attack. Really there is not much else to say about that fight.
